Solid 4K Player at a Reasonable Price

Solid Streaming Device

One thing you should keep in mind is that this device does NOT support Dolby Vision. You'd want to upgrade up one level to get that feature. Still, the Panasonic UB420 does its job, through and through.

The remote is not so great and the streaming apps are slow to work .. so if you just want to watch a 4K blu ray this player will do the job very well

Great Buy

Picture is so bright, resolution is amazing. Works great with our TV even though it's not a 4k TV. It is 1080p. Highly recommend this item.

It supports HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG high dynamic range formats, But NOT Dolby Vision. It upscales ordinary DVD and Blu-ray discs nicely. But, with all that being said, I chose it hoping that it will be more reliable and long-lived than comparable SONY 4K players. I have had bad experiences with SONY players in the past and an no longer willing to take a chance on another one. I will update if this Panasonic lets me down.

Great Disc Player
