I had recently stepped up to a 4K TV and needed a quality 4K player at a reasonable price. This is it. I highly reccomend this item.

After you play a movie or two it starts to freeze up. We let it rest and then its okay until the next time. Now for the positive... i love the way we can switch back and for from regular dvds to bluray.

Just to make sure it's not a software glitch that is causing this, you can also perform a factory reset. While the unit is off, press and hold [OK], the yellow button and the blue button on the remote control at the same time for more than 5 seconds. – “00 RET” is displayed on the unit’s display. Press the right arrow repeatedly on the remote control until “08 FIN” is displayed on the unit’s display. Press and hold [OK] for more than 5 seconds. -M

Great at little player. We love the portability and take this outside for movie night with our projector!

This device gets a 5 star rating, It was just what I needed for viewing movies on my 4k Ultra HD Television.

I purchased 2 of these when they were on sale back in 2021. They were good blu-ray player. And people spoke highly of them. They worked fine until i got a firmware update and decided i would do the update. The piece of garbage died after that. Just stopped working. This is why i wait to give reviews on these things. Now all the thing does is blink its little red light and does nothing. People do not buy this player! It will work for like maybe 2-years. And Mind you i didn't use this thing often. I can't even tell you which player these days are good to buy. I had a Sony that died as well. People were saying this was a good player and it's just as bad. My other player over heats when you leave it plugged in. If you absolutely must buy this thing because it's affordable or in your budget. Do not, I repeat do not do those firmware updates.
