Good quality price-wise. The remote is too small and busy. Somehow I am unable to update the firmware via Wi-Fi. I don’t have a chance to play Blu-ray Disc but I did not find much difference in comparison to my old dvd Sony player that I purchased in 2001. The main reason to buy was price and my old dvd player was burned down by a storm lightning surge. Overall it is a good player.

I purchased this machine as a portable blu-ray player to take with me when I travel and/or visit stay with family/friends, and this small machine delivers in a big way. The single HDMI hook up allows you to take less wires to use the machine, while maintaining clear video/audio reception. It's size allows you to throw it into something as small as a book bag and still have room for everything else you need to take with you. And the quality is more than I expected based on the size. Not To mention is has wi-fi capability, allowing you access to all of your major movie streaming services. Overall, this is a very good, functional and portable machine which should be used for that purpose or for a child's room.

Love this bluray player! I’ve been meaning to upgrade for a while given more physical copies are moving to bluray. There’s a lot of options when using it but easy to use for simply playing movies like I got it for. Definitely a great purchase

I bought this Blu-ray disc player to go with my 55" Panasonic plasma TV. As the TV did active 3D, I wanted a BD that also would play 3D BDs. As is typical of BD players, this one will play a wide range of discs including BD-R, BD-R DL, DVD-R, DVD-R DL, DVD-RAM, DVD-ROM, DVD-RW, BD-RE, BD-RE DL, CD, CD-R, and CD-RW. It also has various built-in audio decoders: DTS-HD Master Audio, DTS-HD decoder, Dolby Digital Plus, and Dolby TrueHD. This BD player will also up-convert a standard DVD to 1080p. Connections include Ethernet (to connect to the internet to update its firmware), as well as HDMI output, LAN, USB, audio line-out, component video output, composite video output, digital audio output (optical). It loads BDs in about 30 seconds, which is fairly quick. I have played many of the disc types in this player without any problems. My Panasonic Plasma TV displays the output from this BD player as only a plasma TV can. The player and the TV are a perfect match. I would highly recommend this player to anyone thinking about upgrading to Blu-ray disc technology. This BD player is fairly large measuring 16.9 in wide, 8.1 in deep, 2.3 in high and weighting a very light 4 1/2 lbs.

I’ve had really good experiences with Sony products since the first Sony tape player I purchased back in 1979. This DVD I purchased for my Church. I also purchased another DVD player like it for my home about a year ago and Sony’s quality is great but continues to get better.

It's a great bluray player, been having trouble with the Sony's and switched to the Panasonic, I've had a great experience, no issues.

Only giving 4 stars because this player hasn't been used for very long. Yet. But, Panasonic tech is known to be good. And I've always had good luck with Panasonic. This was purchased for a church to use. Set up was easy. Image quality is fine. It's responsive to remote commands in a timely manner.

This player will play all discs from Bluray back and was easy to connect to the TV system. It also allows you to connect to outside sources using the WiFi system in the house. Very satisfied with the unit and is great for the price!

This BluRay is perfect for what I needed. It plays BluRay discs and regular DVD discs. You can access Netflix and Amazon Video as well as some others internet aps. It is small and easy to use.

It is a good Blu Ray player. It serves the purpose that I bought it for. Easy to set up.

Seems to work just fine. Connected right away to wifi and updated firmware. Plays Blu-ray and the picture is great but we use it to mainly for streaming, It did freeze up once while loading Netflix. Just turned it off and on again and it was fine. I just chalked it up to one of those things. All in all I would recommend this unit and if you can get it refurbished, it's crazy cheap.

This Blu-ray player is easy to set up and operate. It resumes play if turned off in the middle of movie. High quality picture. Wish remote had better ergonomics.

No frills but does its job. Menu could use some work bur the point was just to play blurays which it does.

This blu-ray player may seem like a cheap waste of space, but it really excels. With built in wifi, Netflix and of course, it can play DVD’s it really is a bang for your buck. it’s compact so it doesn’t take up space, but the quality of video is perfect

Needed a little dvd player for our camper when we go to places that have poor internet connections. This fits our needs perfectly. Works great.

I set up this dvd player last night. Aside from not coming with an HDMI cable, it was a plug and play experience. I'm glad I asked at the store if I needed anything else before I went home. In total, it took less than 15 minutes to set up the player, connect it to the television and the internet.

Purch'd for my mother in her 70's. So far she loves it. Had to walk her thru how it worked since it wasn't a VHS system ;) but she is all set now. She has been introduced to 'binge watching' series and seems to be a big fan. Good price, slim unit and easy install.
