    BEST TV EVER.

This TV is AMAZING, believe me when i say this...I was looking at buying the Samsung 8000 series LED TV but this TV blows it out of the water! DEEPEST BLACKS, MOST REALISTIC PICTURE, NO MOTION BLUR WHATSOEVER (Has a motion smoother feature also...same effect that the led 120/240 feature is.) I'm an avid movie watcher/video gamer and the picture is UNREAL, MW3/BF3/SSF4 i play all these games....NO lag delay from controller to TV which a lot of led TVs give you which is a make or break for me. Blurays are the BEST, never bought movies in the past but this TV alone has made me do so. I did my hours of research and am proud to own this TV, take my advice if you're on the fence DO IT. PANASONIC WINS! Oh and as far as people saying burn-in scares them away from plasmas, it's like it doesn't even exist on this TV, The technology has advanced far on plasmas and continues each year, They are alive and well!

    Awesome TV

Picture quality is amazing, blacks are deep and rich. I have this TV set up in a fairly bright room and there is no glare what so ever, better than my LCD TV was. Great for sports and fast action. The one glass panel looks great and the whole set is thin. Sound quality is even good. 3D looks amazing and the glasses don not make the picture darker as in some 3D displays I have seen. The 2D-3D conversion works great as well. It was a nice touch that Panasonic threw in a set of 3D glasses as most other companies with pricier TV sets do not. Overall great purchase and best bang for your buck as far as some high end TVs out there.

Unbelievable Product - I am so Happy with It

I do my research before I buy anything. It took me two months to figure out this is the best TV that money can buy. I have been a Samsung LED / LCD user with 3 sets. When one went out, I thought I would get another but thank god I didn't. This set is perfect in everyway (I have sound systems so I cannot comment on the internal speakers). Let me start with the picture quality - SUPERB in either 2D or 3D. I have it in my bedroon which is ideal for viewing at night as it is dark. The plasma quality blows away the bright LED / LCD picture and is very realistic. I prefer it much more than the LED / LCD I have in the living room and in my outdoor cabana (not sure how it wouldl look in bright environment). It is easy to use and feature rich. The remote is an upgrade to the excellent Samsung remotes. The features are incredible and it is lightning fast on the internet. Also, Panasonic support has been very good for the few things I have called on. I bought a Dolby digital audio converter as my sound system cannot accept that input style. All in all, the best purchase I have ever made!!!

    Best Tv 2011

This tv is by far the best tv on the market for 2011. Hands down panasonic again establishes itself as the best plasma manufacturer out there. This tv is sleek elegant and overall stunning. With one sheet of glass covering the entire front of the panel and infinit black panel 2 this tv creates deep blacks and the brightest whites. it can also correctly playback bluray at 24fps and dont even get me started on 3d. This tv comes with a pair of glasses unfortunately they arent bundling their 3d avatar package with this tv though. This tv is by far way ahead of any tv out there, the only tv close to it is the samsung pnd8000 plasma but the biggest thing it boasts over the vt30 is that it has a web browser built it to it. Trust me panasonic is the way to go hands down, if you wanna save a little money step down to the gt30 which is almost as good as this tv, i just wanted the top of the line from panasonic and i believe its justified in the difference in price.

    Best TV

This VT30 Series is by far the best tv. I've always had Panasonic and had know need to look at another brand. But before I bough this VT30 I purchased the Samsung un55d8000. Boy was I disappointed I didn't just stick with Panasonic. The Samsung was was nice to look at for the almost no edge look but the picture was horrible. Every few minutes it had motion blur which I couldnt get rid of, so I took it back the next day. People looked fake and LOTR looked like a parody from MAD tv. Like a puppet show. However this VT30 is much better, cheaper and 3D looks fantastic! Panasonic is the best in Plasmas! Plus it has that iPhone look of the one sheet of glass. In my opinion it even look better than the Samsung. On cnet.com they have a calIbration setting for the VT30 which made the picture look amazing!

The picture on this tv is absolutely amazing. The 3D is great as well. Even played COD Black Ops 3D, which was insane. Glasses could be designed a little better. I bought this tv for the 2d picture quality. Its very sharp and the blacks look great. THX setting is a bit dark, but its spot on for all the other settings. Depends on the ambient light in the room. Simply put this is one of the best TV'sI have ever purchased! I highly recommend this product to people who are wanting the best on the market.

    The Best Plasma for 2011!!!

Panasonic has done it again.. This year they have fixed the rising black level issues in there plasma line. So no need to worry about that. The VT series has the best high end circuitry. Some of it is based off of Pioneer's KURO technology. The black is deep, colors are rich and THX mode is fantastic. The audio on this set is crisp and loud with good bass. New for 2011 is an improved 3D system that now does 2D to 3D conversion of any source. Also new this year is an expanded custom pro picture menu. You can now adjust grey scale and red, blue, gree, cyan, magenta, and yellow individually. The VT series for 2011 also has a new screen made of one sheet of glass. There is no bothersome frame around it. At night the frame disappears into the background. If your in the market for a fantastic TV with the best possible picture look no further than the VT series.

The picture is the best I have seen. It is easy to use and setup. It is easy to setup the WIFI. It is a little pricey and the 3d glasses are expensive. I don't watch alot of 3d. But the 2d picture is awesome.

I was vacillating between this one and the Samsung LED D8000 series, but I am so happy I went with this one. The color is incredible, and the THX really makes this TV show Blu-ray movies incredibly. The 3D was much better than I expected! Much better than the passive glasses in the movie theater. I wish there were more apps, but if I want to watch a movie I have plenty of choices between Netflix, Hulu, CinemaNow, and Amazon. I can't think of any complaints about this awesome TV.

Great, Great, Great! Loving the HD 3D Experience!

I really enjoy this tv. I did a lot of homework to make this decision and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. The vt30 is Panasonics flagship HD 3D TV and it shows. I love HBO's Boardwalk Empire and it looks great on the vt30. Then, I decided to use the 2D to 3D conversion while watching the show and wow, what a great compliment to a great show. Don't get me wrong, it's not like anything comes flying at you, but its another layer of depth. Having said that some of the 3D movies look absolutely amazing. Especially, Imax "Under the Sea" - Incredible! I've also enjoyed the easy access to Pandora and Netflex through the wireless connection that comes with the set and sd slots to view my photos. The app store is weak and I hope it grows. But, for now the essentials are in place. I would suggest getting the Geek Squad to help you get the TV in place. I did not do this and although it only weighs a 100lbs my buddy and I had a hell of a time installing it above the fireplace mantle on the wall mount. If you are going to use a stand than forget the geek squad help, because the tv itself is easy to set up. Do your research. I did and I am thrilled with the 3D and the quality of the picture and sound.

    Best TV on the market

Black levels second to that of the 2008 Kuro, minimal 3d Crosstalk, accurate 1080/24p playback without the loss of black levels make this the best display you can get for your money by far. If picture quality is what you're looking for then this or the 65vt30 would be your best options. Sure the bezel may not be as flashy as a samsung nor does it have a lazy susan, but I'm not buying a TV to look at how thin its bezel is or how sleek it's outward appearance may be, I'm buying it to look at the picture. So if your interest coincide with my aforementioned statements, this set would be ideal for you.

After a great deal of searching and study we settled on the Panasonic Viera TC-P55VT30. It was consistantly reviewed highly by the pro reviewers, and there were very few consumer reviewers with negative comments. Our set was delivered and a basic set up was performed and we were immediately blown away with the clarity and brilliance of this display. Once I learned the to access the settings I was able to tweak it to near perfection. Great black levels, and we are able to see detail in the dark areas of images that we never saw before even when viewing familiar content. As someone who borders on the Audiophile side I played the set speakers only a short time before I switched on the full surround. Using the internet connectivity is awesome, and using the DLNA to stream my home content has been a great new way to use our system. For my application this it a top choice in my book. Highly recommended!

The picture quality is fantastic, the features of the tv are great, the one thing I wish it did was autodetect inputs and switch, especially if it is on an input when there is not source, i.e. after turning off the dvd player it should automatically pick up the cable. The sound is actually better than I thought it would be, but I had low expectations of the sound, I will still be buying a sound system at some point. The picture is much better than an LCD, while in the store there is no comparison between the plasma and the LCD, I don't know why people buy the LCD's if they compare the two. This plasma doesn't really run hot either. Overall this is a great tv with a beautiful aesthetic and picture.

Hands down, the best T.V. I've ever owned.

I'm the kind of person that reads the reviews, goes back and forth to Best Buy to ask every single employee for their personal opinion, and spends countless hours on the forums prior to making a T.V. purchase. With that said, I was upgrading my family room T.V. from a 46" Sony XBR4 (which is still a decent T.V.) After many hours of research I decided upon the Samsung UN55D7000LF. This is not a bad T.V., the picture is bright and clear, the internet connectivity is excellent, and the images are sharp. HOWEVER, within a few hours I started noticing a few flaws which ultimately resulted in a trip back to Best Buy and the purchase of the Panasonic VT30. 1. The Samsung had clouding and grey spots around the edges due to the backlighting of the LED. Blacks are NOT black, rather dark greys. 2. Motion is fair at best. I watch a lot of movies and sports. Fast moving images on the Samsung resulted in "pixelation" or "trailing" images following behind the moving image. I adjusted all of the settings, read numerous posts on the forums, but with a 240 mhz refresh rate it is impossible for a LED to have the same smooth motion as a plasma. With that said, I put a deposit down for the 55" VT30 and a few weeks later I was notified that my VT30 was in stock. I have to say this is by far the best T.V. I have ever owned. The blacks are true dark blacks, the motion is smooth and clean, the colors are true to form, and blu-ray looks perfect. I've messed around with the 3D settings a bit and while I didn't purchase this T.V. for 3D, I must say it is impressive. The set does come with 1 pair of 3D glasses. Overall, you will not be disappointed if you purchase the Panasonic VT30. The real question is how long you will have to wait to get your hands on one!

I did a lot of research in deciding between an LCD and plasma but issues people had with LCD TV's when compared to plasma won me over. All of the reviews on the Panasonic were outstanding and I can now honestly say that this TV is AWESOME!! We love it. The picture quality is superb and we had no issues getting it set up. Updating the firmware and software went very smoothly, and the menus and remote are easy to use. Overall extremely happy

I purchased this television as part of a package of home theatre items and have been very satisfied with it after 1 month of use. I do not use the speakers in the TV, so I can't evaluate the TV sound. What little 3D content I've viewed has been good, but mostly programming that was not created in or for 3D. The glasses which come with the TV are not as good as the Monster brand which I purchased separately. I especially like the wide viewing angle as I sometimes view programs from my recliner which is set at an angle. I have only viewed 3D from "straight on", but will try the angle someday. The picture quality and resolution is impressive on this TV, whether in 2D or 3D mode.

I'm a custom AV installer by trade so I see everything the market has to offer. And as for picture quality and black level on 2D content it doesn't get any better. Panasonic didn't put any over the top image processors to make the picture look faux 3D which is distracting. The image smoothing does just enough to clean up the movement and panning. The 3D quality is also breathtaking and is smooth enough to not cause a headache. The Internet content is useable and easy to access and browse. We've been watching a lot of netflix on it and have been very pleased. Also pandora is very crisp and clean. The glass quality is astounding and glare is nonexistent in my living room. Overall I'm very happy with TV. My first TV was a Panasonic when I was 16 and I feel I've come full circle and was not let down.

I switched from my 51 inch Hitachi Ultravision rear projection to this tv and I couldn't be happier. The picture quality and black levels are exactly what i was looking for. Throw in the connectivity via wifi with the included adapter and the good selection of apps and I am one happy camper. I have not tried out the speakers so I just rated them 5 stars, I have my own surround sound so they are not needed for me.

This is the best tv you can buy right now, not samsung, lg, sony,..........and its cheap $1799, hurry, don't wait. I found calabration settings on cnet.com for THX mode and custom mode, they look pretty good if you want to save $200 #geeksquad#
