Customers recognize the Renue Cell Phone's ease of use, especially its keyboard, which makes texting easy. The call quality is also praised, along with the phone's size. However, a common complaint centers around the battery life, which some users find to be insufficient for their needs.

It's a phone. It works, but it's just a phone

The not-so-good:
1. So let's say I send a text message, and then I want to update my facebook status, and then I want to change the song I'm listening to. I have to send the first text message, and then when I'm in the middle of the facebook status update a popup comes that says "Message Sent Successfully." I have not been able to find a way to make the stupid pop-up stop (and I think it's a Pantech thing, because my other Pantech did the same thing).
2. The camera SUCKS. I'm sorry, it does. The video camera isn't too bad for a phone, but the phone's regular camera is terrible quality. It has no flash, so you can only take a picture in a well-lit area, and even then it's grainy and nasty. For great pictures, I recommend the ATT LG. I had that before I had this and I LOVED that phone.
3. When I plug it in to charge, I can't use it. I can talk on it, but if I try to use the touch screen, it stops up and glitches and gets all confused.
4. Keys are kind of flat, so it's a bit hard to type on if you have long fingernails.
5. It's REALLY easy to accidently access the internet. The internet button is right next to the Next button on the main menu, so often times I'll slip and touch that instead. I don't have a data plan... accessing the internet by accident can be a problem.
The awesome:
1. It's a good size. It fits in my back pocket, in my purse, in my little wallet-key-holder-majigie.
2. Screen is lovely
3. One word, friends: Bluetooth.
4. For those of us who don't have bluetooth, it has a normal sized headphone jack! (that's one thing I wanted, since the micro-headphones are impossible to find these days).
5. I don't butt-text people as often... I think it has something to do with the sensitivity of the screen.

I got this phone back in February of this year and I enjoyed using it for the short amount of time I had it. I liked how small and thin the phone was and I liked the physical keyboard. Because of the phone's compact size, it made it easy for me to put it in my pocket. However, the keyboard was a little on the small side and it made typing a little more difficult. The audio quality was better on this phone than on some of my previous phones. I liked that it was a world phone. The camera and video recorder were not the greatest, but I did not buy the phone for that reason. I have other devices I can use for photography and recording videos. Call quality was pretty good. Most of my calls stayed connected for the duration of the call. One thing I would like to point out is how if I pressed the screen lock button on top of the phone, while the phone was up to my ear, the proximity sensor would get confused and unlock the screen, making me press buttons with my face. So, just put the phone up to your ear and the screen will lock by itself. When you take the phone away from your ear, the screen will turn on. The operating system is basic, but it gets the job done. The phone is slow and it shows when the user navigates from one screen to another on the main screen and the menus. However, it does what it is supposed to do. I recommend this phone to anyone looking to get a quick messaging phone or anyone who is looking to get their child their first cell phone.

The battery life sucks big time ESP since I'm a heavy texter the batter only last me up to 4 hours at most. There's no application in my phone at all but the battery run out quickly I don't like it. The phone is ok not much features to like about this phone but very simple if that's what you enjoy. If you like a simple phone with no much feature then this is the best phone to go for it. If you like a smartphone and is a heavy application person n using for business this phone isn't right for you. The pan tech phone here is mainly use for only texting and calling AND browsing (if you can afford the extra money charged for the internet esp if you are from AT&T).

Adequate for calling and texting, not much more.

I got this phone to do three things: make phone calls, text people, and listen to music. For the first two it's adequate, but the mp3 player is almost worthless. It can't even maintain an index of albums if the "Contributing artist" field is different for the individual tracks--it lists each track as a separate album! With the same album name, no less. Requires going in and resetting the field for each track individually to "blank." Impossibly tedious. Documentation is sparse, and there is no help I can see at all for problems like this. I miss my old RugbyII.
Battery life is half the Rugby's, and ringtone choices are fewer than half the Rugby's--can't even set one for voicemail messages.
Barely adequate phone for a not-to-quiver price.

I've had this phone for almost a week now and the main problem that i have had is the battery life. Since i am in school and I have a job, i need to be able to have good battery life from the time i leave school to the time i get off of work. The standby is supposed to be like 3 days, i have to charge my phone every night, and maybe once or twice through out the day. other than that no more complaints. you can customize a lot of stuff.
