This beanie fits good. It is soft and rather warm in 30 degree weather. The light is short ranged but really bright for tasks within 15ft. There are 3 levels, first is high, then medium brightness, then low, then Off. Included 2 pictures as reference, one with the light off and then the light on. The room lighting was the same in both pictures even though the picture with the LED off seems brighter. Getting the LED square out of the beanie is challenging the first time. The beanie has a tough rubber square going around the LED plastic square. You have to pull a corner of the rubber square attached to the beanie out and away from the LED and push from inside the beanie to pop it out. Don't worry it wont tear or break. The charging port is on the back of the LED plastic square (see pictures). To put the LED back in, insert a beanie's corner rubber square into the grove on the LED plastic square and work it into place all around.

Trying to find the Plug in for the light to initially charge it, all there is, is a small picture that doesn't really explain how to pull the light out. AND if you happen to pull on the wrong thing, you break the plastic that's screwed in with the 4 tiny screws. It's easy ONCE you've popped it out for the 1st time to see how it goes but if you've never done it before it can be rather confusing. And you'll BREAK IT it if u go by the other reviews that say "just pull hard and it will come out". A much better description would have been to " peel back a corner OF THE RUBBER Gasket that goes Around the plastic light and it pops out cuz the rubber gasket is what holds it in there.

I like the fact that the battery for the LED light is rechargeable. I have a similar beanie that uses button batteries and they are expensive and harder to replace. The LED light is removeable from the beanie and you can plug in the charging cord to recharge the battery. Once you remove and replace the LED light from the beanie a few times, it is pretty simple. The light has three intensities. I like to use the beanie with the light to read in bed.

Bought these for my husband and his brother. They both love them. They are comfortable as opposed to the head lights that strap around their heads, provide alot of light when needed with 3 different settings. Also love that they can be recharged. They came just in time for the cold weather. The guys can wear these and have a head light to help when they are working on the trucks at night or around the house.

I love wearing this to walk my dogs in the evening. Much easier to push the button on the hat for the light than trying to pick up the poop and hold the flashlight and/or phone. Three levels of light is a perfect option. Easy to remove the light to recharge it. Lasts a long time on a charge.

Great find. Needed a hat not so much the light but hey it was a great value and yes I love the light too. Can wear to side when not wanting to have the bulk in front. Had to watch product video to learn how to remove the light for recharging. Excellent winter hat I must say.

I think this beanie is really cool and effective. I can remember my father telling me to hold the flashlight as he worked on various different things outside in cold when I was young. With this you get a beanie to keep your head warm and a light perfectly aimed to brighten you area of view with three different modes, high medium and low. This is a great product!

The product is of Good quality but the charging port is older version of usb and one it comes with size only, as far as I know.

Fits well, good brightness, decent battery and easy to charge

This worked great for a night time hike in the woods. Also works if you have to go in poorly lit areas, like unfinished attic, crawl space, etc. It has different settings of brightness that can easily be toggled by pressing the button. It takes a little work the first time removing the light to charge, but once you get it down, not so bad.

Didn’t “need” this but saw it on sale and it looked pretty cool. After trying it out, it’ll be very handy when working on stuff around the house where a flashlight is needed or anywhere i’d needs hands free light. The 70 lumens is brighter than i thought it’d be & the mid or lower settings are good enough (w longer battery life) for different situations. Being rechargeable was the selling point for me.

Wearing this to jog after dark, so far it’s holding charge well and very bright. Had to watch a YouTube video on how to remove the lamp the first time, but its easy once you know the technique. Good buy!

Great beenie purchase. My daughter loves her new beenie. It is very warm and the light is bright for walking at night. It is not as bright at the Roq beenie which I prefer but she is happy. 4/5 rating because the LED lighting could be brighter.

I bought this hat for walking my dog at night and picking up after her. The results were better than I had hoped they would be. Lights up where you are looking and the path in front of you without having to angle your head awkwardly to make it light go where you want it to. Just put it on and turn it on! I was afraid the light might be in my eyes or distracting me by lighting the tip of my nose, but it only lights up the ground in front of you. Before I was walking my dog and holding a flashlight. Very tricky to light up the spot and pick up after your dog with a leash a bag and a flashlight in hand. Additionally, the light is a much steadier illumination than the bouncy light beam of a handheld flashlight. Understanding how to remove the light to charge it the first time is a bit of a learning curve but did not ruin my satisfaction with the product. Great price too. I would recommend this item.

Bought two of these hats for my wife & I and they function very well. We walk at night alot & the headlamps are bright & the hats keep your head warm.

Bought as a gift for someone to take their dogs out when it is dark out. They loved it and use it every night.

I run quite a bit early in the morning. While I have a vest, I wanted something that would illuminate the path a bit. This hat is a game changer. Really bright and warm.
