Customers are satisfied with the Solar Puck 1400 Solar Lantern's brightness, noting it produces a significant amount of light. The lantern's long battery life is also a plus, with users highlighting its ability to hold a charge effectively and its solar-powered convenience. However, some customers found the product smaller than expected. The compact size, while convenient for portability, may be a drawback for those anticipating a larger lantern.

When I bought this item, I saw a written blurb that is was ideal for camping. Really it is ONLY suited for camping. You face its solar plate towards the sun during the daytime, but at night it casts light in the opposite direction unless you re-position it. I attached the item to my fence to collect sunlight and hoped it would cast light into my small yard for a few hours at night. But it cast light into my neighbor's yard instead until I turned it around. Too much fuss to keep re-positioning it every morning and evening, but that is easy to do for campers.

This item's small size disappointed me, because it fits in palm of your hand. It collects sun light from the front side and emits night light from the back side, which might work for some users, especially campers. For other users like me and my intended use for the item, I would have to physically turn it around each evening to point the night light towards the direction I want it to go, which is too inconvenient. Then I would have to turn it around again in the morning to collect sun light.

Best of both worlds....light and clean energy.
In a world where everyone is fighting for a plug to charge, I'm set with this solar lantern.
