Good Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The GoSafe 388 seems to be a good camera, but has some options features that may increase the price that I find annoying and unnecessary. The image quality is great and the mount is low profile which is great in tight spaces. The stop sign and tragic light alert is a useless feature in my opinion. I guess it would be useful for careless drivers though! The only reason I bought this camera was because it was on sale, I would not buy I at the regular price. There are many other options on the market that are more feature rich.

The mounting/wiring was simple enough for me to install it, and when viewing the captured moments, the playback was decent. I do wish the night vision was better, and I have made changes to the aperture, however the differences were not too noticeable. Maybe a deal breaker for some, but not for me, as I'm interested in capturing what currently is happening. On an 2013 Audi A4 - not hardwired yet, but I do plan on going hardwired.
