I really liked the idea of being able to capture front and rear view aspects and this camera does that. The box says its a reverse camera but I haven't gotten that function to work, I imagine I would have to hard wire it. I went with the plug and play route. I was able to run the rear camera cable along the side of the cars panels and under the rugs to minimize the cables appearance. The video quality is good and the wide aspect helps capture everything in front and behind you. It also has mode you can set for when you're parked (motion detection) of if you want to take scenic photos.

when it works, videos are great and crystal clear,,!! maybe it was the unit that was defective, but will give papago another try for sure.

I like this but hate the small screen you can't see hardly anything on it.

It constantly freezes and shuts off. I have to repeatedly unplug it and reset all the settings. Sometimes daily. Also my job sent me out of town for 2 weeks and when I got back to my car the battery was completely dead. I knew that was going to be a possibility, though. Due to the timing of my work trip and the virus outbreak, I am not sure if I can return it or not. I had it installed by Best Buy also.
