Good protector but expensive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Paperlike screen protector, as you've probably been recommended and seen all the videos showcasing it on YouTube and stuff. But don't get sucked into the hype too much. It is a good protector, but it is certainly on the expensive side. At upwards of $50 for two protectors, you can find a lot of other alternatives to this online and elsewhere. First installing it can be a bit difficult depending on who you are. Even if you follow the tutorial very closely, it can be difficult to perfectly install it with no bubbles. Even I very carefully installed it and still had a couple tiny bubbles, but they dissipated away after a couple days. But once you get it first installed it feels really great. The protector really does feel almost like writing at paper and the quality isn't as degraded as other matte protectors, but not by much. Some people may make it seem as if you don't lose any quality at all from using the screen protector, but in reality there is a noticeable drop-off, especially if you have the OLED M4 iPad Pro, which makes it look significantly worse. Depending on how much you write and use your iPad with the protector on, the coating and protector does degrade quite significantly. For me, after using it daily for note taking and usage for about 2-3 months, the paper like feel that was present at the start was significantly less after that time. My protector write more similar to glass than when I first installed it by that time, and I even got a couple little greasy spots on my protector. Those greasy spots are pretty smooth and look as if your hands were very oily before touching the screen, except once you get them, they're there for good. At least it comes with two protectors, so I'd say when the quality diminishes significantly, you might as well install the second one. So overall it is a pretty good screen protector, but do know the high price and the compromises that come with using a paper/matte screen protector like this.

Great for writing and drawing, reduces glare
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Paperlike screen protector really improves the feel of writing and drawing on the iPad. The texture adds just the right amount of resistance, so using the Apple Pencil feels more like paper instead of slippery glass. It also cuts down glare, which makes it easier to use in bright light. Installation takes patience to get it perfectly aligned and bubble-free, but once it’s on, it stays in place and works well. The matte finish does slightly reduce the sharpness of the OLED display, but for me the better handwriting control is worth it. If you take a lot of notes or sketch often, this is a great accessory to have.

Could be easier to install
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The paper like screen protector works as intended but it is rather difficult to install. I wish there was some sort of installation tray in order to make it easier for anyone to install. It’s very easy to mess up and while they do give to after constant use, you need a replacement anyway and so it seems silly to waste a screen protector just because it’s hard to install.

Probably works fine but impossible to install
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I watched the videos and followed every step to a T. I ended up with a bubble covered screen protector both times. I spent 40 minutes trying to scoop the bubbles out with both a guitar pick and credit card. Netiher was effective, I was stuck with a ton of bubbles in the middle of my screen that wouldn’t budge. If you buy these, pay the geeks to install it. Otherwise don’t waste your time or money. Plastic screen protectors at $20+ per piece is not a good value. Glass can be etched to achieve a similar and arguably superior experience, with an easier installation process. It’s really clear to me that this product is designed to do nothing more but maximize profit in an unpopulated market.

Loved paperlike
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a customer of Paperlike and their products. While I generally appreciate their offerings, I must express my dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had with their screen protector. Despite my efforts, I was unable to achieve a proper installation, resulting in permanent air bubbles on my device. It is perplexing that a company of Paperlike’s caliber does not provide a protective plate to ensure an optimal fit for their screen protectors.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start by saying the texture is decent. Not the best, not the worst. For context, I have worked for AT&T for the past 5 years and I have installed hundreds, if not thousands of screen protectors on both phones and tablets alike and this one has, by far, the WORST design I've ever encountered. The installation is absolutely a joke. Yes, it comes with 2 for $45 but there is reason for that - you will mess up the first one. And if you manage to get the 2nd one on, good luck getting the air bubbles out. I have never struggled so much with a screen protector. In addition to the installation being unnecessarily difficult, the protector itself is very thin and fragile. I would recommend going to Amazon and searching for the Mothca anti-glare or paper-like screen protectors. They're actual tempered glass and have an installation guide. Stay away. Don't waste your money. That's all.
