This is one of the best movies ever made, a must see for any movie fan. The film itself is a classic. The blu- ray is beautiful but the 4k sometimes has allot of noise in the picture. But- I have to fault Best Buy, the disc delivered to me was NOT new or unopened - it had fingerprints on both discs (4K,blu-ray) and had obviously been re- shrink wrapped (it was double wrapped- then when I called to exchange it for another one -was told they didn’t sell copies anymore. A rare fail from Best Buy itself.

I really love this movie as in my opinion, it is my favorite western. It has all the greats....James Stewart, John Wayne, Lee Marvin, Lee Van Cleef, Edmund O'Brien, and many more. If you love westerns, then you know the plot. An eastern lawyer (James Stewart) travels to the west and encounters "the Wild West", with a lawless bad guy (Lee Marvin). I have the blu-ray version and I was looking forward to this 4K transfer, and I could not have been happier. The visual difference on my set, with an OPPO 4K dvd player is stunning and the audio is fantastic. If you love westerns, love The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, you will not be disappointed in this 4K edition. I highly recommend this to everyone.

I purchased this version mainly because I like older westerns and this is one of the ones I have always liked. There really aren't that many movies of this age in 4K available and with a 77 inch OLED watching DVDs is not really an option. The movie being one of my favorites is extremely enjoyable but from what I have seen you can't really expect the 4K in any of these older movies to come anywhere close to the movies of today which originally come in 4K. But I can watch it on my 77 inch OLED so it was well worth getting.

Great film. Nice presentation. I wish that Paramount would use the original poster artwork for the exterior of the package. Nonetheless, I'm happy that such a great film received a 4K update.

Great line of movies and this one in 4K UHD is one of their best westerns! Enjoy this classic film by owning this edition!
