its essentialy a cross between two classic great horrors, the blair witch project and the entity, it starts of a little slow but builds up to some realy creepy moments, my girlfriend was so scared she got angry at me becuase i wouldnt turn it off.

I have no idea if people were watching the same film I was. This movie was very boring with a story that you pray and hope would have something exciting to tell but winds up a dead end. I don't need blood or guts for me to think a horror film is great but please be original, if they had shot the trailer in the theatre I was in it would have showed a bunch of people falling asleep (seriously) people booed the film once the credits rolled it was that bad!!! I don't know what the payoff critics received and why people follow the trend but this movie is not worth buying please rent it before you even consider it.

This film is not scary, but is well made on the budget they had and is better than Blair Witch. My girlfriend thought it was jumpy but I couldn't see that as many parts are predictable - including the end. The film is entertaining and is worth watching and this is why I give it 5 Stars for effect

I liked this movie a lot. I have never really been into scary movies but this was one worth seeing. I loved every second and was constantly scared throughout the movie. Others I have known have not been able to sleep without the lights off after seeing it! Great movie overall!

I have to say, I never really thought that this would be some super scary movie. I thought that if all these kids are going insane over the movie, it's just another craze in the new world of teens and what not. The movie isn't scary. It starts out really slow, but it does gain a bit of momentum. Basically, all that is scary about this movie is how much hype it got!! I don't see how those people were freaking out like they did in the preview for the movie. I think they were paid too. Overall. Not a good movie. Nothing like the BWP.

I personally really liked this movie. Although not the scariest movie I have ever seen, I believe it does provide some terrifying moments. I thoroughly enjoyed the acting between the couple, and thought it was very well done.

My boyfriend and I love horror movies. This one is one of the best. Scariest movie we have seen in ages.

If you want to have a good scare turn down the lights and turn the volume way up. It's not about special effects it about mood and ambiance.

The best thing about this movie are the scary parts, other wise it sucks.

The trailers made it seem as if this were going to be a good (and scary) movie. After 15 minutes, I was bored. There's maybe like 10-15 min of actual horror/scary scenes....the rest is just a bunch of pointless footage.

I was so excited to buy this DVD when it came out, I don't go to the movies much, so I buy alot when they come out on DVD. I heard sooo much hype about how scary this movie is, even the girl at Best Buy checking me out at the register, said, that movie is soooo scary. Four other people watched this with me, and they were disappointed as well. Don't waste your time or your money.

people told me this was going to scare me alot.... um.... NOT SCARY WHAT SO EVER....... this movie is all on a home video camera and shaky...... great acting.... for a fake movie. Do not get this movie u will be bored and fall asleep like i did and half my friends when we watched this

After hearing how it "scared" audiences in the theater who would want to pass this up? Well it sounded to good to be true. It was. Acting, awful. WAY TOO much cussing, not needed at all. This movie was really only about the couples relationship, not ghosts. Pass.

The optional ending was better then the whole movie. I've seen better paranormal activity then that. I don't have money to spend on a movie that I will never watch again. They should sale this movie only on bootleg copies. Very disapointed.

All I have to say is Don't waste your money buying this like I did, I wasted $30.00 bucks on this blu-ray and what a waste of my money. This is the worst movie I have ever seen that I can remember to date.
