There's a reason that this movie won Best Picture at the Oscars last year. It's absolutely incredible. Yes, you have to "read the movie." I guess if you can't handle that, don't get it. Sadly, this does not include the black & white version that is available on the Criterion blu-ray, but personally I'd rather have the 4K UHD than extra features I'll likely never watch.

Parasite is one of the best films of last year with its powerful narrative of the haves vs the have-nots. My main concern is why is a 4K disc required. My Blu-ray disc looked just fine. The 4K did not add much new. If you own the Blu-ray disc, forget this purchase. But if you like this film to view it in the best format possible, check out this 4K version.

I try to see all the Best Picture nominees each Oscar season, but I didn't think I would enjoy this foreign language film. I'm so glad I gave it a viewing and now it is one of my all time favorites! The twists & turns, the marvelous performances and the excellent direction made this movie a most deserving recipient of the title "Best Picture"!

WOW!!! I was not sure what I was going to think of this film, but it REALLY made me think. Honestly, I did not sleep well after watching it. Every noise I heard in the house made me wonder if someone was walking around. Real life creepy! I see why it won four awards. Enjoy it!

It's no Wonder that this very INNOVATIVE movie WON BEST PICTURE! The acting, filming and situational comedy is top notch. The characters are extremely hilarious and likeable, for all the wrong reasons. Starts out slow but trust me...pop the corn and enjoy! Quite the ride.

Coming into this movie, I suppose I lived under a rock, as it was nothing like I expected. The good news is that it is great! The movie is quite original and worth viewing at least once. I purchased it having seen it before, as I do believe this is worth rewatching. Great film!

I could picture this movie as a book in high school where the teacher would tell you to find all the messages, metaphors, smilies, irony, symbols and all the good english terms. This movie is soooo good. If you dont mind reading subtitles, i highly, highly recommend this movie.

This is a great movie, but don’t read anything about it before you watch it!!! It’s best watched in Korean with English Subtitles. The picture quality and audio is fantastic. This movie will have you thinking one thing will happen, but then something totally left field will hit you that you weren’t expecting at all.

This movie is a must have even if you haven’t heard of director. There are so many twists and turns in this unpredictable movie. It’s a masterfully crafted movie from beginning to end. Thankfully the trailer gives nothing away for the type of movie it actually is. I highly recommend this movie!

This is an outstanding movie! The story is well told and an incredible insight into another economy recognizing the limitations and challenges of capitalism. "What will people do just to make it in life?" that the question this film explores.

When I saw this move for the first time in theaters, I was blown away and instantly made it my pick for best movie of the year. The 4K version gives me the opportunity to show people the movie if they missed the theatrical run and slept of this movie receiving best picture.

Great film by a great director. Do yourself a favor and if you haven't yet look up his movie catalogue. The story of a family willing to do whatever it takes to succeed regardless of the cost. Best picture winner.

This film is a stunning work of art that deserves to be seen, regardless of what language you speak. The film is sublime. In 4K, certain scenes pop out and are jaw-droppingly gorgeous. Don't read about the film, just go watch it. The less you know the better.

One of my favorite movies in recent memory. I viewed this movie in the theater and I knew it would be the winner for best picture at the Oscars. I highly recommend you watch it and don’t read up on anything prior to doing so.

This was my #1 movie from 2019. I also think it's the directors 2nd best movie (I think Memories of Murder is his #1). It deserved an Oscar reward. In fact, it was the only time I ever watch the Oscars because a movie I cared about (Parasite) was a contestant.

It's different than other mainstream cinema but I love it for its dark atmosphere. Story unravels nicely but it's not for everyone. Definitely for me. There's a dubbed English version. Or you can watch in Korean with subtitles.

It’s easy to see why this movie won an Academy Award. The dark comedy about basement dwellers has been brought to light and you truly feel for these people who feel this is their only way to get ahead in life. Capitalism is not just an American issue.

South Korean film perfection. This films exudes directorial perfection, along with highly engaging characters and a nerve-wracking and highly interesting plot. Certainly one of the best films of 2019. Highly, highly recommended for all film lovers.

Really good movie. Have to really pay attention and follow it when watching. I picked up more the second time I watched it of course. I got this in 4k on sale at a great price. The movie looks great in 4k on the 4k Blu-ray player and 4k television.
