This film is my favorite of 2019 and is up their with my favorites of all time. It deserves every award it earned. If you aren't into foreign films because of stereotypes, then you are missing out. This movie is not overly artsy like what people tend to think of with foreign films. Reading subtitles might take a few minutes to get used to, but you can do it! The acting is superb, the cinematography is on point, the writing is brilliant.

Amazing.. Like...wow....omg so amazing. Its nothing what you expect this movie to be. This is some Stephen King thpe of movie. But better because every detail interlinks. I have watched this twice- and I'm even searching hidden facts littered throughout the movie. Ans they do such an amazing job- there never being a dull or unimportant moment or scene. I'm a picky person for movies. But this one...amazing

What an incredible film! So glad that it got a criterion release, it definitely deserved it. Everything about this movie is great and the story is just fantastic. The only gripe I have is that the cardboard cover around the actual disc case was a little dented, but I guess that can be expected since it came from the mail. Other than that, I’m so happy I got Parasite on a criterion Blu-ray!

There are a lot of subtle details that are woven into the fabric of the film. Better yet, there is something constantly happening. There isn't a dull moment or a wasted scene. This movie quite brilliant. A lot of effort was put into the contrast between the two social classes. It is obvious that human interactions and manipulation were well studied before making this film. It is a must watch.

The setup was great. Son gets an invitation to replace his friend as the teacher for a girl in a rich family. Soon his sister is teacher to the rich girls brother. The father replaces the chauffeur via devious means. And lastly the mother replaces the long time house keeper again via devious means. All is well until the Rich Peole go on Vacation and the house keeper returns. Tgats when the 5 star action starts.

First off, the Blu Ray and digital copy are top notch in quality. In regards to the movie, I enjoyed it thoroughly the first time I saw it in the theater. After watching several analyses of it on YouTube, I have come to appreciate it even more. The incredible amount of attention paid to detail by the director is mind boggling. It is truly a great work of art that deserves repeated viewings. Definitely worth owning.

Incredible movie! B0ng Joon-h0 did any in amazing job illustrating the affects socioeconomic divisions on society, which exists throughout the world—not just in Korea—and the ways in which it has effected global human culture as a whole. *Spelling his name with a zero because Best Buy considers his name "inappropriate language."

Tremendous movie. Really had no expectations for the movie. Title makes it seem like it is a science fiction or horror movie. I watched the Oscar Awards and it won many awards, so had to watch it. Enjoyed every minute of it. Great story, well acted, everything about it was very entertaining from start to finish. Picture and sound excellent. Do watch this, you won’t regret the time you spent watching.

Really well written and directed film. I can see how it won best picture. Interesting to watch the differences between these South Korean social classes, their living conditions, goals and aspirations. Plot twists with funny surprises really make this film fun to watch. Guaranteed to make you laugh. NOTE: In Korean with English subtitles. Really beautiful in 4K.

Fans of several genre's will appreciate this film, even for the casual film goer who loves a great once in every ten years type of film you will not be dissapointed. The awards and accolades for B. Joon-ho and the actors were all well deserved, if the actor who played the father would of been allowed a nomination for Best Actor he would of easily won. Great film worth at least one view for every one.

The best film of 2019 an one of the best films of the decade. So original and unique story telling. The film takes you on an emotional journey from drama to comedy to an absolute thriller. Parasite examines universal class differences is such an artful way. This film breaks ground and deserves the Best Picture Oscar that it received. I highly recommend this film.

There's a reason that this movie won Best Picture at the Oscars last year. It's absolutely incredible. Yes, you have to "read the movie." I guess if you can't handle that, don't get it. Sadly, this does not include the black & white version that is available on the Criterion blu-ray, but personally I'd rather have the 4K UHD than extra features I'll likely never watch.

One of the best films ever made. Saw this in the theater without knowing anything about this movie. I left that theater having one of the best watching experiences of my life. This movie is so funny for the first half and then turns into a wild thriller. One of the most entertaining movies I’ve ever seen. I definitely recommend picking this one up.

Parasite is one of the best films of last year with its powerful narrative of the haves vs the have-nots. My main concern is why is a 4K disc required. My Blu-ray disc looked just fine. The 4K did not add much new. If you own the Blu-ray disc, forget this purchase. But if you like this film to view it in the best format possible, check out this 4K version.

I am loving my new Insignia 65 inch TV from Best Buy. The price was terrific but the value is outstanding too. A large screen set with unexpectedly sensational sound. Built in Amazon Fire makes moving between streaming APPS a breeze. Picture is very good. I recommend this set to someone who wants a big screen and big sound at a great price.

And man I don’t know what to say except it’s a masterpiece!!!! Every aspect of it!! From beginning to middle to end! I went in not knowing anything about it at all. I didn’t read about it and I didn’t see any clips or trailers. It’s heart pounding scary! And it’s nowhere close to a horror movie. A MUST watch with the family to see everyone’s reactions WATCH THISSSSSSS

Parasite is a movie I’ve thought about long after seeing it. It’s tense, it’s funny, and it will leave a lasting impression on you for days. The Blu-ray copy looks excellent and is very crisp. The contrast is great as well which helps this movie a lot since many shots are in dimly lit rooms.

I try to see all the Best Picture nominees each Oscar season, but I didn't think I would enjoy this foreign language film. I'm so glad I gave it a viewing and now it is one of my all time favorites! The twists & turns, the marvelous performances and the excellent direction made this movie a most deserving recipient of the title "Best Picture"!

There have been many foreign language films that have deserved the BEST PICTURE at the Oscars, but only in 2020 we saw the first one take the prize, with other 3 awards as well. The film is very entertaining and its twists will keep you looking. After it ends, a whole new world of Class Struggles that used to be the subject of many films before the 80s.

I was lucky enough to see this in theaters before all the Oscar buzz being very familiar and a fan of the director. Chances are you have seen one of his other films. ( The HOST and SNOWPIERCER being two of my favs and his most popular before Parasite) Give this a shot. You might like it. I loved it and I am glad it won the academy award for best picture.
