Parental Guidance is an extremely funny movie. Billy Crystal is a riot and Bette Midler and Marisa Tomei make it even better.

Good story both funny and sad at times some very thoughtful sayings

This is a great movie to let the stress of the day escape. It is funny, yet light drama here and there. It pokes fun at the parent & grown child relationships. Yet what I like most about this, is stays close to "reality" and doesn't get crazy stupid in poking fun. It actually has a good message to grown children, as well as parents in accepting the "differences" in raising children. Ahh, I won't give the ending away, but live and let live or give and take would be a good summation.

This DVD has very nice sounds and picture quality. The movie itself is a fun and entertaining flick for the family to watch. If a person (or persons) are expecting some type of masterpiece, they might be disappointed- just take this film for what is worth and enjoy the time watching it with loved one's.

A great movie for kids and adults! The rating was about rude humor, though I thought it was not that bad. Most of this humor would go right over most children's "heads". Billy Crystal was great as usual. Casting was excellent and believable. Would of liked more extras; like blooper's and and a behind the scenes short.

Like explosions? Graphic violence? Full frontal? Then you need to watch this to take a break from that stuff! It's rare to find movies that are clean but not complete cheese. Funny shouldn't mean crass, and Billy Crystal, Bette Midler, and Marisa Tomei reminds us of that in this wonderful movie.

This is an overly mediocre film, despite the talented adult cast and direction by the usually reliable Andy Fickman, who done two pretty good family films Race to Witch Mountain and The Game Plan, but the screenplay is too average and annoying children too annoying and cloying. Despite it all, there is some OK laughs and Crystal and Midler have good chemistry, but chemistry only gets you so far. The picture quality itself isn't too great either, with alot of drab colors and pizazz, with an X-Games-esque scene shot with GoPros that featured noticeable pixelation that while a short scene, is noticeable enough to notice. The audio is the standard comedy soundtrack (lack of major surround use, LFE almost nonexistent) and the extras consisting of a slightly amusing commentary by Fickman and Crystal, deleted scenes that were wisely cut, outtakes, and a featurette that only offers a slight look at making this film. Recommend only if you love the stars, need something for the kiddies or just need cheap filler on your bluray shelf.

This movie is a great chuckler throughout and we just love it. Sometimes I just have it on to keep me company. My kids love it too. Billy Crystal, Bette Midler, and the lovely Marisa Tomei will make you laugh and smile. Cute story, nothing overly emotional, but a good reminder that families need each other.

For me Billy Crystal movies are hit and miss. This movie was a big hit for me. Reminded me a lot of the comedy from the city slicker movies, I was rolling laughing. Does have a child with a weird stutter that will slightly irritate because it is annoyingly fake but does not hinder the movie.

I originally saw this on demand with the family and the kids loved it so much that we bought a Blu-Ray version for my daughter (9). Although we don't watch it everyday...we do enjoy watching it every now and again, and we get a few laughs from it too. Definitely one to have in your collection.

My daughter encouraged me to watch this movie with, and we did not went to the movie theater, but when it came in this blu-ray, DVD, and ultraviolet combo, I bought it watch it with my family and I was laughing the whole movie, great experience

This is a very funny movie with lots of laughs! The main stars Billy Crystal and Bette Midler were great! This purchase included 2 disc's blu-ray with DTS audio and the standard dvd with a digital copy! Lots of extras!

We love this movie- and it is the kind of movie that you can watch again and again without getting tired of it- The cast is fantstic- and the one liners are great - love the entire plot- One of my 9 year olds favorite flicks!

Great movie for some fun family time - we skip the one scene with the grandmother taking a pole dancing class, but other than that it is a lot of fun and the kids love it!

This is a older movie that we originally saw in a movie theater and was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so we can watch it anytime we want.

This film is great for the entire family! I would recommend the film to anyone who has children or who is young at heart! Billy Crystal and Better Midler are terrific and the children in the film are great.

I really enjoyed this movie! I watched it with my daughter and grandchildren and found it to be very relevant. There are many times I find myself getting help with electronics from them, The movie brings it all together with great humor and feeling.

This is a good family movie starring Billy Crystal and Bette Midler as the other grandparents. They are old fashioned and must learn and put up with todays modern family and advanced technology house. There are many family issues to settle also. Very funny

This video was just a real delight to watch. As a grandparent I could relate to family, distance, and awkward family situations. Laughed so much. Enjoyed every minute of it. Watched it about 20 times!!!
