This is one of those little known indie films from the 80s that has been mostly lost to time, getting a new life on BluRay thanks to Vestron! Dark, creepy and smart, it definitely deserves a wider audience. PQ and AQ are excellent - the movie looks better than it even did in the theater. Vestron has done it again - treating us to excellent special editions of fan favorites. Check it out!

Weird and dark. Not something everyone will like, but I absolutely loved the tongue-in-cheek dark humor and the funky fifties period piece sets, costumes, and musical score. Randy Quaid plays an incredibly creepy psycho, probably my favorite performance I've seen from him. Supporting cast is great too. This is something I might show to those few vegetarians I know who have a sense of humor.

I've been buying this series blurays the quality of transfer looks great and the special features (especially the commentaries) are amazing. This personal is not my favorite movie but if you enjoyed the movie you definitely will not regret purchasing this bluray.

Parents is a intriguing film. It isn't perfect, and it probably tries to have things both ways with regard to ambiguity and certainty, but it's fun and disturbing in about equal measure, and it certainly has a very distinctive style. I will say that I have a decidedly off kilter sense of humor, and those of you who share that tendency will probably be more prone to enjoy this film than those expecting either traditional horror or comedy.

This is an 80s type of dark humor or horror either way I'm glad that this film got pulled off the shelves and gave the blu-ray treatment.

This film is a weird one but fun at the same time not really dark. Glad these movies are getting released again on blu-ray

This is a great throwback to the 80s film with a wonderful transfer and some nice extras. Definitely worth picking up!

Parents is about a boy who runs from his mom and dad because they are cannibals. It's a fun gory mess. Great product from Lionsgate..great PQ,AQ and extras to satisfy !

Great little film that I avoided when I was a kid. I thought it looked cheesy. Glad I finally got to see it.

Love the Vestron Video Series, so this was a must-buy for me. Movie was pretty good but more of a slow burner.

Older, low budget. Randy Quaid is great. Vestron video are doing a stellar job with these releases.

It's a fun cheap 80's horror flick that's got a great 50's design and some fun moments sure to entertain any horror fan of 80's cheese.
