This litttle drtone is the bees knees, only the bees are 50 year oldmen. They burn out way too fast. I mean, ifyou are going to let me turn the inclination up that high I assume your drone can handle it. But no, the bearings in the motors a start sounding different by the by the third battery. By the 5th run it starts falling out of the sky. I assume itsx because the motors are overheating. This sucks too because Parrot, your software is fabulous. No other mini drone out there even comes close to your flight stabilization. And the hand toss take offs are amazing. I threw it upsidedown on purpose and the dang thing flipped over and hovered right there. Yes, these drones hover all by themselves. Not like the cheap ones that you are not really flying but rather constantly corecting altitude, direction, so they never stop moving. Not this one. You loose your phone battery in flight, no problem, your drone will hover right there and wait for you to power up your tablet and reconnect. Really good stuff. But either fly it sloqw or go to parrots website and orserabunch of replacement motors, your gonna need em, oh, and props. This doesn't come with an extra pair. Wtf parrot? They are p!astic porops, .005 cents a piece to make in China. Why can't you give a replacement set? That's some be. But your software is great.

So you may be deceived, there is NO camera on this droid. Battery last about 5 to 7 minutes which sucks. The app was difficult to install on our Android phone, but super easy to use and add on the IPhone. Since the battery life is so short I would not recommend taking it outside to fly just because it won't last.

As the price and size indicate, this is a beginner drone. It does not have advanced features like the more expensive models from Parrot, but this was not designed to be that way. It is easy to fly, can withstand falls from kids playing with it, and it has fun customization options right out of the box. The photos are kind of low quality, but this is a small drone, and I'm not expecting DSLR quality photos. It does not do well with wind, but it was meant as an indoor, and no wind outdoor toy. Props to Parrot for the fun product. I recommend this to people looking for a fun toy to fly around the house, or outside on a calm day. I haven't had any issues with this product. I also recommend buying a second or third battery since the flight time only lasts for about 10 minutes.

My brother bought me the Swat version for Christmas. It's my first drone and I can say that I learned very quick. I'm a 28yo male and I love gadgets and tech in general so I can tell the mini drone is well made for a beginner model. The optional bumpers make it easier for indoor flight or kids. I don't recommend this for a child. Ages 10+. The rechargeable battery is nice with around 10mins flight time. It does not come with a 2.5amp charger though which is a shame cause with one it takes about 30mins for a full charge. Luckily I had one. If you plan to fly a lot, I recommend an extra battery or two which can be bought online. The app is not great nor is it completely useless. You will have a little trouble using Bluetooth on your phone to connect to the drone the first time. Once you are connected however, taking off and flying is simple. 4 different flips are possible with a simple double tap on your phone screen. TL:DR Great first mini drone, ages 10+, well made, ~10min flight time, App is 6/10 but still easy to fly.

This drone is great for beginners. For those who don't know, drones have a steep learning curve. this one is very user friendly. Small and lightweight. Doesn't have as good of a camera as some of the more expensive drones but good enough for the price. Highly recommend for beginning drone users and if you want to get one for your child. Can use indoors and not easy to break.

Bought this for my son for his 12th birthday, mostly because of other reviews saying that it is a good drone for beginners. They were right; it is a good drone for beginners, but also has the capability to go fly beyond "beginner mode." My son picked it up right away. The pictures are nothing to write home about, but you know that by looking at the resolution it is capable of using. Also, I would rather it fly a little longer, but charge time is not very long, and spare batteries are not too expensive.

This thing its just too small not much of control but you can do some tricks like flipping just to impress teenager it was my first drone so i had a lot of fun flying but its just to fly indoor outdoor if wind blows and its gone :D

Parrot makes great drones. What I like best is that they hover in place, and are easy for a beginner to fly. The battery only lasts about 5 minutes, but recharges quickly.

I had owned a couple of drones before buying this, and flew some more. Looking at the stability for a drone of this size is unbelievable. The sonar keeps it in one position. The app is very intuitive and easy to use. Kids can fly this easily. I would recommend using the guard for beginners and for advanced flyers too.. The Camera isn't that good though. But I wasn't expecting much either. Would have been nice if it would have recorded videos, or have a Live feed. But if you want something for recording aerial images, I would rather say go for bigger ones from parrot.

I got the Parrot Minidrone as my first drone and I absolutely love it! Its big enough to be fun and small enough to fly around indoors very easily! And its stable as ever! Definitely worth the money and the time spent flying it. Its not something you fly everyday but when you do fly it its never disappointing! I also have the Parrot AR Drone 2.0 but its not as easy to fly indoors. The only downfall to the drones is the battery life but sometimes all you need is 7 minutes of flying heaven and your day is all good!

Bought this drone for indoor use and to pass time when not doing anything. It hovers great. You can use your phone or tablet to control the drone. Has a built in prop guards to protect your propeller.

Very easy to fly and do tricks. Photos are grainy but the camera is just a simple one. Good for the beginner.

I had some BBY Reward points to burn and decided to buy myself a toy for Christmas. This drone is fun to fly - controlled from an app on your phone. It hovers pretty good with it's auto take-off and land features. It tends to slowly creep a little higher - so I buzzed the ceiling several times - okay - basically every time. it has an onboard camera for taking still shots - but I haven't really figured that our yet. Perhaps there is a training paper, video or something - but I haven't found that yet. Seems like there are lots of options with the controls, I just don't know what they do - but regardless it is still fun to fly. You get about 10-15 minutes per charge. The re-charge process takes about an hour or so. Overall - it's seems worth the $100+ for my first drone - but my next one will definitely be bigger and better!

Easy to fly. The software is slow to update initially. About 7 minutes flying time per charge. Good beginning model.

I purchased the Parrot - Airborne Cargo Mars Drone for my 9 yr old son to learn with. At the price point this drone is at it is great to use for younger kids to learn with before investing much more to begin with. He has used it everyday for 3 weeks and has mastered it very well. Built well, easy to use, and affordable fun!

Bought this as a gift, and it's been great for someone who isn't going to spend a lot of money on a drone but wants something to play with. It was fairly easy to setup and use.

It's a little pricey compared to other drones in this category, but it is very fun and easy to use. I had flown it outside in mild windy conditions and even at full speed it struggled. When the wind died down it flew just fine.

Great beginner drone to try and practice only setback is battery life is so short. You would need to buy extra batteries.

Great toy but occasionally becomes imbalanced and loses control. But for the money you can't beat it. If it weren't for the occasional performance hiccup it would get a 5.

Excellent drone. Only downside is battery time, but does one with extra battery.
