These headphone sound great & are really comfortable. I tried the original ones & they were real nice but these are much better. The app has more settings, they are much lighter, smaller & more comfortable. The older ones were so heavy & bulky they'd almost fall off you head by just bending over. There's also an airplane setting that's convenient.

Terrible for day to day functionality. I bought these headphones feeling really great about the luxurious components: the app and its many features, the noise cancellation, the sleek design, long battery life, etc but at the end of the day my headset short circuited. A lot. And I found the design to be bulky and heavy. Again, beautiful listening experience, when it's not breaking, but not good for someone on the go.

The Best headphones I've ever used!

I read reviews and heard drawbacks before I tried them but when I used them myself I was very impressed. I bought and tried Beats studio wireless, Samsung top of the line wireless, and several other models and they pale in comparison to these. The best feature to me is that the bass response is superior to any headphones I've ever used. On an international flight they were on my head for 8 hours and I felt no fatigue to my ears nor were they too heavy on my head. I watched movies and felt every rumble and heard every word including whispers from the actors. The only bad thing to me is that for headphones so expensive they don't include a hard shell case for them.

Everything including the battery life is great about this product. My only concern was the $400 price-tag.

Having the ability to custom tailor the sound for any track is awesome. The sound isolation is also excellent, with the ability to go from maximum to beyond none, i.e. "street mode" whereby you can not only hear great sound, but be aware of your surroundings at the same time. The phone function is very good and those on the other end comment on the excellent sound. I use an iPhone 5 and the bluetooth paring is simple and automatic. The range from my phone is OK, but for doing things that require me to move away from the phone (like cutting grass), it works much better if I just keep my phone in my pocket (no interference). Works OK with the included cable, but definitely sounds the best over bluetooth. Battery charge is slim with only 6 hours, but I find that is much more than enough. Even on a long trip, I won't listed to music for that long at a stretch. Sitting overnight without being recharged will still get the battery more reserve. Charging doesn't take long, and can be done with a battery-powered cellphone charger or anything that uses USB. Sound is truly excellent, and the ability to tweak it on the fly through the app is amazing. These headphones are stylish, well-made and very light and comfortable. They could have thrown in a case rather than a cloth bag for the price, but that is a minor quibble, as they fold up fairly flat. Positives: Great sound, ease of tweaking the sound, excellent, variable active sound isolation, lightweight, well-made, comfortable for long stretches Negatives: Fairly expensive, limited BT 3.0 range, mediocre if adequate battery charge life

Purchase the unit because I was not impress with the Bose Bluetooth limited distance when connected to bluetooth. Great features and love the app but too often i prematurely end a call because my hand touched th touch sensor on the right ear. Battery life is good.

Good sound quality. Very comfortable. I can wear these for hours without any pain or fatigue in my ears. That said, I'm pretty sensitive to head pressure. Noise cancellation works wonders. No need to turn up the volume to the max to block out the surrounding noise. They are not cheap, but extremely satisfying headphones. All in all I can't say enough good things about these headphones.

    OVER-PRICED!!

The GOOD: sound quality is good, (but my Sony MDR-V6 phones are MUCH better and cost about 1/4 of Zik price).. Design and hardware is well done. The BAD: s/w app (current version) is horrible, almost dysfunctional. Battery life is very poor. The price is WAAAY too high. I have owned at least 4 or 5 other headphones of quality (Sony, Sennheiser, Denon, Koss, etc) that cost less than half of the Zik and delivered superior sound (yeah, yeah - I've read the ratings and reviews too). Bluetooth on Zik is a bit flakey and marginal. DON"T BUY THESE - there are better choices for a lot less money. (FYI- I am a degreed engineer, and decades-long audio enthusiast).

Okay these are great headphones. Then why 1 star? Because the Zik 3's have been available for months just not at Best Buy. And the Zik 2.0's can be purchased for $150 less at other outlets. Note I have actually called Best Buy about this but they will not update their pricing (you can call and do a price match guarantee). And they have no word on if or when they will carry the newer better Zik 3's.

These Do NOT Work Wirelessly With Your Laptop

Parrot makes a big deal to call these a completely wireless solution but they have no bluetooth drivers or software for laptops and no plans to. Their support team told me that they have logistical issues developing for all laptop platforms and so they do not intend to develop a solution. You can plug them in via USB but then why did I spend $400? Also, when you do use USB you can't change any settings, so you need to pair them back to your mobile device. It's unfortunate that they don't see this as a requirement.
