This is a older movie that I had previously seen, but my wife had not and I was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so my wife and I can watch it anytime we want.

A good story for any fans of old world Vikings. Good action sequences and nice scenery.

I love this movie. It has a classic tell of two people in love but in different places in within tribal lines. I really love how the two characters finally make it out alive and come together to begin a new life.

I love this movie, it's great when I'm in the mood to just sit back and enjoy some snacks and watch some good action with light story. I also like Karl Urban, he does a good job being an action hero type.

Love this action adventure fantasy movie With Indians and Vikings!

Although many will spout off "This is heresay" or "Not historical". It is based on the "LEGEND" of early explorers. The film hollywoodizes "Vikings" sure but it still is a very good film with a good story, good action scenes and a good sense of adventure. Don't be put off by naysayers who just don't like ANYTHING these days! In the vein of: "Last of the Mohicans" and "13th Warrior".

The only thing preventing me giving this movie one star is the fact that it had some really great camera work in parts. But really the plot and the acting is this movie are just awful. I know several people that waited months for this movie to hit theaters and we were all very disappointed with the final product.

The fighting scenes in this movie are cool and has some good camera work, HOWEVER, the plot and story behind it are horrible. I am generally easily entertained with movies, but I really spent most of the movie just waiting for it to end.

I love this class of movies, is a history movie about indian and germanic people.

If you are looking for a movie featuring armor and slaughter, then this one is for you. The camera work is good - the mood and atmosphere created could make for an epic tale. Clancy Brown (antagonist) is the only great actor among them, the rest are weak including the main character. Definately a hack-fest.
