We have coffee at it nearly every morning on the patio. It's been through rain, snow, hailstorms, high winds and desert heat sunny days & still looks like new. The chairs are VERY comfortable to sit on even without cushions. The set isn't ultra heavy which I love.. they're made from aluminum but until you pick a chair up.. you'd never know they aren't cast iron. I'm thinking about getting a second set for the upstairs balcony.
