Patriot's Day is a truly great film, that unfortunately is based on actual events. Despite knowing the story and its details, the film still had me on the edge of my seat. Seeing how insanely dangerous and scary the battle with the two terrorists was gives me even greater than my already great appreciation for our police officers. They are heroes. Watch the film. You won't be disappointed.

If you've seen this movie in the theatre, then you already are planning on buying it. If you wait to watch movies at home then you won't be disappointed. If you have a preconceived opinion of Mark Wahlberg, forget about it. This is not about him, this is about the city of Boston and the tragic events of that day. A very powerful movie and a must see for every DVD collection! Thank you.

I enjoyed Patriots Day as a police procedural thriller, and thought it accomplished what it set out to quite well. The 2013 Boston Marathon bombing was a disheartening tragedy, and its heroes and victims should to be honored. In that regard, I appreciate what they were setting out to do with this film. I can be more than my share of cynical, but I can't be cynical enough to believe that this wasn't an earnest tribute to those heroes and victims. My enjoyment of this film isn't about religion or politics, but rather the thrilling tension I thought it provided in spades.

Totally did not expect much out of this movie but it sure was great. The highlight was the gun battle in Watertown. It was really amazing but only if you have a top notch audio system, a great audio spectacle! The only unrealistic aspect of the film is that Marky is everywhere and seems to have jurisdiction in every town and every place in Massachusetts. Star power must be served.

Patriots Day would probably have worked out better as a standalone movie instead of being solely about the Boston Marathon bombing. I feel odd when they take a real life event and then 'bling it up' for the big screen when they could have just as easily made the event something different and still had a good movie. That being said, it wasn't a bad movie, but they have to add a lot of things to it to make it a movie instead of a documentary that never actually happened.

Patriots Day is stirring true story of the American spirit. The Boston Marathon bombing was a terrible act of terrirism, but even though several lost their lives and many more were injured, bystandars and 1dt responders jumped into action to save lives. The action packed event incorporates real video surveillance and has a great documentary included in the special features.

Peter Berg's interpretation of Patriot's Day mixes actual footage from that day along with the production he made with his cast. The way he implements actual footage with fabricated footage is seamless and is so masterfully edited. For a Hollywood film, they seemed to stay as close to the facts as possible. A great all-around movie about how we respond to terrorism today.

I live right down the street from where the manhunt ended, and the film did an amazing job recreating the events. I enjoyed seeing how police Strategized, analyzed, and captured the bomber. The film incorporated real life footage from the bombers, and carjacked individual, which I thought was a plus. Overall I recommend this film, you will not be disappointed.

This movie did an excellent job of portraying both the horror of the Boston Marathon bombing and the heroism and dedication of the police officers and FBI agents who worked quickly and tirelessly to catch the bombers. The inclusion of actual surveillance and news footage was well done and added to the overall suspense of the movie, Highly recommend this one.

One of the worst terrorist attacks in America occurred the day of the Boston Marathon affecting almost every American to our nations core, this film and the films stars renact that terrible day with precise detail and the hero's that were there when we needed them to be there. BZ Job to Mark Walberg as the films main star for another impressive performance.

A grim reminder of how vulnerable our society is these days, but it was uplifting to see how the people of Boston rallied to each other in a time of crisis and how law enforcement relentlessly pursued these attackers. Assuming the script closely followed the actual events, I had no idea how intense the final shootout really was until I saw this movie.

Movies based on tragic real life events can be hard to get on board with and often make for difficult viewing. That being said, this was an excellent movie and the depiction of these horrible events really pulled at the heart and emotions. I am not one who often expresses sadness through tears, but this one got me. Recommended.

It is difficult to relive any act of terror and this movie gives you a ring side seat to the events before, during and after the attack. So horrifying to see what the innocent victims and the brave first responders went through as well as some insight into the ideology of the perpetrators. This can never become the new normal in our country!

My wife and I were in Boston the previous weekend before the Marathon Bombing Day of Monday Afternoon, April 15, 2013. This movie serves as a reminder of our nation's ability to rise up from Tragedy and the PRIDE & Togetherness of the People of our Nation's Birth Place ... We are Boston Strong! Highly recommended for Mature Family Viewing!

I think that "Patriots Day" was one of the greatest inspiring historical films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite historical films of all-time. I also think that "Patriots Day" had a lot of entertaining and enjoyable action, mystery, suspense and drama including a really great and amazing cast and personal storylines as well.

Excellent film in the unofficial Berg-Wahlberg trilogy about recent disasters. My personal favorite of the three, it's full of action and suspense, even though we know the gist of what's going to happen. I would highly recommend it to lovers of film and history, but I think this is a movie that should be seen by everyone, personally.

This film can be tough to watch, but it's an important and powerful story, and I love how they share it. Wahlberg gets around a little bit too much here, he's literally in the center of every event, and it takes you out of the store a bit, but overall, an excellent movie.

This is a great movie with Mark Wahlberg that took place in boston. This movies is based on the life events of the Boston marathon Bombing. Very touching movie. Thanks for all of the first responders that risked their lives that day and every other day. And prayers to anyone who was affected from this tragedy. America Strong!

Nothing really exciting about this flick. Glad I watched it as it documented some of the details of the Boston bombers. I wouldn't watch it again.
