I unboxed the new computer hooked everything up went through the 2 and half hours of updates and installs. Finally got to messing with the computer and wanted to look at some specs to make sure that everything was accurate with my purchase. Without doing anything other then the required updates and restarts I went to my computer to look at the C: drive to see the available space. Advertised this computer should come with a 1TB hard drive. My available space on the C: drive without installing anything was 50gb. I was did some investigating to find out why this is because on another screen it show that 917gb are being used. I thought to myself this couldn't be accurate. So disk management shows an unpartitioned 880gb on the drive. So in order for me to access this unused space I would have to format the drive or us some partition manager. I probably wont buy another HP computer simply because I shouldn't unbox a brand new product to be left to do what some computer tech's spend years in school learning how to do. It should work and function as advertised with the right available space. To avoid messing up the computer I will probably just buy a SSD drive because its faster any way and copy the files over then reformat the SCSI Drive that came with the computer that was advertised as 1TB but only has a partition of 100GB because of some update. Other then that the graphics and speed of the computer overall are beyond satisfactory. I am only displeased that it doesn't function as advertised and I am left to do the technical work myself or either send it back.

This is a pretty compact unit with enough storage and speed to suit most users.It has an optical drive which most don't have any more.Fans are pretty quiet although not quite as much as my old full sized Acer.

This computer has been flawless. It is fast and has all the neccesary software you need. It was very easy to set up and took very little time to be up and running. Love the small footprint.

When I needed to replace my old desktop I wanted the most cost-effective solution that would meet my needs. I do not stream, game, or have very large up or downloads. The processor, memory, and hard drive are the perfect Goldilocks solution for me - not too big, not too small, just right. I am very happy with it and would recommend this unit to anyone with similar computing needs.

I went looking for a desktop computer we could use for the family. We needed the computer for our children to complte school work and to store our photos. We do not need it for gaming so this was a good buy for us. So far the computer has been great and the children enjoy having the desktop in the house to read on or to use for homework.

I really did not need a laptop, since my phone does everything I need on the go. I decided to save money get something with better specs. This model is plenty fast for all the mundane tasks I engage in, such as my thousands of songs and photos. Web browsing is equally trouble-free. Overall, it is hard to beat for the price.

It is not for the gamer but it's a good platform for word processing, emails, internet surfing, etc... I use it with my Sibelius music writing program and it works well. I was surprised that a desktop would be wireless but that works well also. Lots of internal storage available. Great price

I wanted to upgrade my PC computer, which was outdated and wouldn't run Windows 10 well, but I didn't need a top-of-the-line computer. This computer fit my requirements well. It is fast, has plenty of memory, and was reasonably priced. I have had it long enough to try all the programs I use on a regular basis, and it runs them well. My only concern is with Windows 10 that is somewhat proprietary, but that's not the hardware's fault. If you need a general use computer, this one fills the bill.

I was amaze on how fast the HP desk top computer was. I am very please with it. I had to buy separate speakers for the sound but that is OK with me. Good price I am glad I purchase it.

This computer is perfect for my needs. Easy to set up and use. The only thing I did not like was the small keyboard that came with it. I like my larger one which works just fine with the computer.

Needed a 2nd computer to set up additional work station in my home. Didn’t want to spend a lot of money, but at same time wanted to get needed speed and storage, which I got.

I needed to upgrade the desktop for the kids unit and this unit met our needs. Enough space for games, homework and watching YouTube. The pricing was a good value as well.

I got the desktop as an upgrade to my laptop (which was 6 years old). I didn't need a laptop anymore since I've graduated from school. Performance has been great. It's a great everyday desktop aka checking emails, browsing the web, etc. I have also used to to game a little. Nothing to heavy, a few light games on steam and it works alot better than my old 6 year old laptop (which I customized to game). I don't game as much on PC anymore hence why I didn't get a gaming desktop instead. Would definitely recommend for an everyday PC with very light gaming.

Easy set up and not a lot of garbage on the computer. Actually one of the easiest computers to set up that I’ve had. two months of use no problem

Provides for basic small business needs, although Windows 10 locks out certain necessary components (older printers, for instance)

Had to replace my desktop from 2010. This is a great computer for everyday stuff. It's fast and it was easy to set up.

I do mostly word processing for my business. This HP is fast with plenty of storage and the dual displays are a plus.

After much research both for price and specs, this HP computer hit all the right spots. As a replacement for a very old HP, all of the necessary updates and memory requirements were right in one spot. If you have the floor/desk space, this desktop is big enough not to have those crowded ports all squashed together and make things easy to access. A great price and BestBuy service made for the complete package to fit our needs well into the future.

Easy to add to our network, simple startup, fast, easy machine

HP computer (hardware) works fine, but the operating system - Windows 10 - leaves a lot to be desired. In addition, I am not happy with all the pre-installed bloatware from HP, and the pre-installed useless/unwanted applications, adware, and features from Microsoft - especially those that are integrated into the OS and cannot be uninstalled or are reinstalled when the OS automatically updates.
