Really great computer for the money, meets all of our needs and uses.

My wife and I buy new PCs every few years rather than spend money trying to improve the old ones. Our strategy is to buy whatever Best Buy sells for around $500, HP or Dell lately. HP has been our choice for the past 10 years, and no problem there. I look for minimum requirement of 1 TB and premium Intel processor (though AMD has also been fine for a few of our PCs) because that spec indicates that the other components will be robust enough. I never get purchase protection, and I NEVER buy or accept ANTIVIRUS software. If your new PC has a problem, it will show up immediately. Watch closely during the first month, and if its squirrelly (freezes, goes to black screen, etc), return it for another one assertively. If it's perfect for the first month, it's not going to change, most likely. It probably got dropped at some point. Accept OS updates 100%, and you'll be as good as possible security wise, assuming your avoiding risky internet behavior (password insecurity, suspicious attachments, websites, etc).

Although this is a budget desktop, it’s very speedy and capable. For the price, this thing actually has really good specs. It gives you a surprising amount of bang for the buck. Startup time is about 20-30 seconds, and once started up, everything runs very smoothly. It plays and streams high definition videos, and runs programs, games and apps without missing a beat. It does everything I need it to do with no problems or issues of any kind. It typically plays a few games like Minecraft and Sims, and goes on social media websites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Skype. You can stream music from Spotify, and watch videos and movies on websites like YouTube and Netflix. This machine does all that with ease. No lagging or freezing when playing games or watching high definition videos.

I bought this computer for a back up computer and it is good. I like that it came with keyboard and mouse. It didn’t come with screen or speakers.i like that it has 1 TB hard drive and 6 usb inputs for keyboard,mouse,speakers,webcam and flash drives.

This machine is perfect for what it’s designed to be. I do wish that the VGA and HDMI inputs had a little more space in between them, because the first DVI-HDMI adapter I bought was too bulky to fit next to the VGA connection for the 2nd monitor. Other than that, it is great!

Super machine for what is need. I bought this computer for my senior father who uses it to cruise the internet, exchange email and play card games. This is a great little machine for what he needs and probably much more. Excellent price too! I always buy HP machines and they are the only machine that I have had since my first computer in 1987. I have never had an issue with any of them and have only purchased new to upgrade to a faster processor and keep on top of the operating systems. A definite "BUY" for the common user!

I bought this for my children and it does the job I need it too. I bought it for them to do schoolwork and play games.

My previous desktop (HP) was much smaller but weighed more than the HP Pavilion. I’m happy that upgrading to a Windows 10 required that I purchase another computer and it met all my requirements.

i bought 2 of these for my grandaughters i set them both up at home with help from best buy geeks i also purchased word and excel and note pad. all went well and now they do there homework on line. They both say that every thingworks great.

It's a good computer, but as with anything there is a learning curve for the new operating system. It did walk you through set-up.

I really like this desktop fast speed and looks great. I had a laptop now purchased this desktop and couldn't be happier. My son kept trying to convince me to buy another laptop but glad I decided to purchase this desktop instead.

Needed to replace 8 yr old HP that fried due to electrical surge. This was a good price and nice upgrade to what i had prior

I wanted to upgrade my old computer since it was getting clunky and am glad that I purchased this one which was on sale. It's for someone like myself who doesn't need a super-powerful computer and uses it for routine tasks like surfing the internet, paying bills online, etc. I chose this model with the Pentium processor over the AMD on the advice of the sales rep and it's definitely better than my old computer. It's faster and smoother which should satisfy most people's requirements.

Bought this as a gift to replace an 8 year old Dell. It's fast and is perfect for typical home use. I was never a huge fan of HP but between this and my HP laptop my opinion has since changed.

I use this computer in my small business and it works great. Doesn't have any problems handling the work load and the price was right!

Very compact. Love the style. Very happy with the number of USB ports available on this Desktop, of course, can never get enough though. Always needing more, Processing speed is great. Again, what do you expect, it's a HP desktop. I am committed to HP, lol. Also for the price I purchased this for, not too bad.

I've had the system for about a month. Was very easy to set up and start working. I have always been very satisfied with HP products.I have an Hp laptop and 2 HP printers.
