Full of surprise twists, the plot leads the watcher into a world of intriguing and suspenseful mind engineering. The juxtaposition of naïveté and ingenuity in the main character keeps the interest level high in anticipation as he seeks to figure out a series of seemingly meaningless clues. A fun movie all around.

Paycheck is a clever little sci-fi/mystery. It has a solid cast and an original story that is worth a look if you never got to see it in the theater.

This was a good movie but not great something about ben Affleck movies where you no if they picked a different actor the movie would have been better

Great classic sci-fi thriller from director John woo who also did Face/Off. Movie looks great in blu-ray

love these older movies so hard to find and they were priced well and came in the mail within days

4 of 5 stars for the sci-fi movie Paycheck. Ben Affleck plays a computer engineer who is hired to perform long-term top secret projects for an employer and then to have his memory wiped-clean after the project/contract completes. Talk about an NDA! After he exits from hs current project, the world is upside down and he has a pocket full of odds and ends. With no memory of the last several years, he tries to understand the items in his pocket (who, what and why???). Uma Thurman has a secondary role as his girlfriend. You travel along with our lead in his quest to figure out the items and what they mean. I give this a 4 as the plot is not very guessable and it keeps you glued to the action. I highly recommend this movie; you'll be surprised to learn what his project was all about.

It was a decent movie but not good enough for me. I like a movie to keep me up and going.

This movie is probably better than you've heard it was, but that obviously doesn't make it good. The story is compelling, but the acting is not up to par. Even Aaron Eckhart whose work I generally respect just does not do a great job in his role. If you notice this movie on TV sometime it might be worth flipping to, but it's ultimately not worth the cost to buy or rent.
