Comfortable to a point...

I tried these on in store and they felt amazingly comfortable so with a price match I got these over the Turtle Beach Ear Force XO Four. I was amazed they take no battery and run off your controller's power. Upon my first use I noticed a couple things that might not bother everyone but they bothered me enough to return them. First off, I got a lot of static playing Call of Duty almost to the point it was unenjoyable. Second after about a half hour of play the weight of these got to be too much and it started causing neck pain which was relieved as soon as I took them off. Lastly they sound amazing but the sound at maxed out level wasn't very loud. I could hear my kids carrying on over these.
Don't get me wrong these are good headphones for the price I just found them too uncomfortable for me. Keeping that in mind I WOULD recommend these to a friend as well as advise them of my issues.

The sound from these are really good. I had a pair of XO Sevens that had gotten broke and my girlfriend bought me these. The light was cool, but here is the but, it only worked once Not the lights do not work anymore. I didn't get it for the lights.

Sound great and fit much better then my other gaming headsets. Big ear pieces cover your ears fully, and it isn't super tight like other headsets I' ve tried. Felt good wearing it for a long time.

The best thing about this headset is its comfort. It doesn't squeeze too tightly which is perfect for me because I wear glasses. After long hours of play, it doesn't feel painful.
The headset is easy to use and the buttons are easily accessed and go right under the controller. Although, I'd prefer the mute button to be a switch rather than a button. The whole design is definitely an improvement from its previous models, its a beautiful headset and looks great on your head. Plus, it sounds great and I can hardly hear outside noise.
It's a good gaming headset if you just want to find something that does that job and fits comfortably.

Returned my Microsoft Xbox one headsets to give this headset a try and regret it.
- Sounds is decent but not worth the price tag
- If you have a big head like I do it ends up crushing the back of your ears after a while.
-Set-up was fairly annoying with my mic cutting in and out and most of the time not detecting at all in the xbox accessory profile The Microsoft ones I had before were literally plug and play, ready to go no hassle with decent sound and no skull crushing.
Going to return this headset and pick up something else instead.
Really wanted to give these a fair shot because a few friends have the Afterglow AG9 Wireless headsets and are happy with them but the AG9s are sold out everywhere in store.

Another Great Product!

I have owned three different Afterglow Headsets over the past few years and have never been disappointed. The new Karga Xbox One Headset did not let me down...
One of the most significant upgrades to the model was the padding around the headband. The fit is much more comfortable then before without compromising its structure or function. I must admit, I was concerned that the additional padding would only make the fit more difficult on my giant head - luckily I was wrong!
The sound quality continues to impress. I have been using these the past few days to listen to music and play through Destiny - the range in tones is fantastic and something I would not have expected for the price. Also, the padding around the ears seems updated - not as stiff as models prior. Overall great ear experience!
Overall, another solid headset from the folks at PDP. Don't let the price fool you - this is a quality headset worthy of gaming elite!

Sound isn't great

These are comfortable, felt solid, and kept out most ambient noise. But if I pushed the volume enough to get anything close to an immersive experience, it crackled and popped endlessly. Have to return for something with better sound.

Great headphones for the price

These headphones work pretty great. I had them for a few weeks now. Prior to receiving these, I had received my first pair
(turtle beach) back in September. So I do have something to compare to, which I wont in this review.
Fitment: They fit on the head very well, not too loose or not too tight. Adjustment is easy and they hold well without sliding (I change my hair style and adjust sometimes for if my hair is in a afro or not). The cups are padded so it feels good to wear them for long game sessions.
Aesthetics/function: The headsets look very cool and are a lot lighter than I expected. I really like how the mic is retractable and its stiff so it can be moved and keep its position. The sound is good when listening to the game and other players. I have had no complaints about others not hearing me. I like that they light up and it looks very cool when im gaming at night, but I rarely turn them on because im the only one playing most of the time in my house. One thing i was not too impressed with was the adjustment of the chat and game volume. When adjusting the chat/game volume through the headset, it would adjust volume and chat at the same time when I try to adjust chat only or volume only. I had to do quite a bit of playing around to get where I wanted.
Overall this is a good price and a good headset. They do what they were intended to do with a little bonus (having a light on them). They are comfortable, keep noise out fairly well, I can hear others and the game clearly, and others can hear me without problems. I would recommend them for the price range.

Not worth the money

Sound wise, the headset is really very capable and worked fine. Problem is that the headset band is very brittle. Had mine crack in 3 places with very little pressure. After it cracked, the mic stopped working as well. Do not waste your money.

Audio is nice and clear and it glows green. You can also connect it to your phone to listen to music with the cable that comes with it. Got these after my turtle beaches broke and I'm so glad I got them. They connect to the controller so they're not truly wireless, but I'm not complaining. Definitely recommend these to anyone!

Headphones cracked in less than 1 month

I purchased two of these headsets for xmas 2014. We really liked that though they were wireless, they did not require batteries. The prices, while not cheap, was also attractive when comparing to the cost of Turtle Beach.
Unfortunately, less than a month an one pair had cracked at the top. They don't look like will last much longer. I may have to eat the cost, but plan to stop by BB tomorrow to see if they can either do an even exchange or allow me to get a different brand.

They're just ok. They are one of the more comfortable headsets out there, but sound quality kills it for them. I play my games fairly loud and these headphones do not handle loud at all. At higher volumes they sound very crackley. I also have the Turtle Beach XO1 headphones here and although they are not quite as comfortable, they sound way better! The Turtle Beach's will be staying home, PDP Afterglows are headed back to the store.

If you are looking for the high-end quality headphones you want to consider ones. But if you are an occasional gamer that just needs to focus or not wake up the baby sleeping in the next room, these work just fine. They are ok quality, don't feel amazing on your ears but good enough for an hour or so of gaming.
