My boyfriend and I got this after one of our wireless ones started acting up (eg not responding quickly enough), and we’ll never go back. First, it gives old-school purple see-through color GameBoy vibes, so points for that. Second, the connection cord has plenty of extension to reach the Switch from our couch, so stepping over it isn’t an issue because it’s so slack. Also, it was way cheaper than a wireless one. Finally, and most importantly, we don’t have to charge the thing. Hallelujah.

I love this controller! Very bright and colorful. Everything works great, my only complaint is the lack of the HD rumble. I knew it didn’t have it when I bought it tho. Still, the controller is great and the cable is very long.

I know it's weird to explain, but I don't want the fear that my controller is going to slip out of my hands, even if it's glows many different colors. I can, for sure, say that controller would be to blame for losing in most games. The wire is pretty lengthy, though. Depending on your dock placement, it should reach you just fine. Some games, however, are iffy with voice chat (unless you fine-tune in-game settings). Paladins require you to turn it on, but you'll need a friend to see if they can actually hear you in-game. You can hear everything though the headset, too, if you want.

I really recommend this controller. It is lightweight and easy to use. The best thing about it is that it seems durable and the buttons are constructed well. It is also lights up which provides a bit of illumination when I play my Switch with the lights off. Some cons: the cable isn't the longest so you will need to be careful if you want to play this when your Switch is hooked up to a TV. You may have to move your seat much closer to the television in order to prevent setting up a tripping hazard, Another thing that is probably my biggest pet peeve with the product is the position of the home button and the screenshot button. This is not consistent with the joy cons included with the Switch device. Thus, once you get used to one or another, it will create some difficulty in transitioning to the other layout when you end up using this controller during multiplayer or some other reason. Besides these things, great value for the cost.

It's pretty when playing in the dark, but the wire is a bit of a pain. There is a wireless option should that be a bother for you. The movement isn't the same as the O.G. controller with switch, so I prefer the regular ones I think. The movement is sort of loose.

Whether it's the fundamental parts of what makes a controller good (thumbsticks, triggers, bumpers, d-pad, buttons, etc) or the extra features (mic input, lights, see-through material, etc), this controller is great at both! If there's any complaint to be said about this controller, then it would be the same complaint as most other Switch controllers, which is that the triggers do not sink into the controller enough like controllers from Xbox or Playstation (or even previous nintendo controllers like the gamecube).

Lights up very bright! My son loves the fact that he can have a “different” controller all the time just by switching the colors. And another plus, no need to worry about dead batteries.

Great addition to the Switch. LOVE THE lights. With the TV adapter and this it converts into a gaming console. Recommend it 100%

For the price, not bad; just remember this is wired, but I like how you can disconnect the cord when storing it away. The colors add a cool touch too.

Great fun controller for kids but it is wired, a really long wire so sit back and enjoy!!

Got this for my wife, and she loves it! More reliable than our Joy Cons, which are aging and have some connectivity issues. Great controller, and much cheaper than buying new Joy Cons or the pricier first party Pro Controller.
