I prefer the single-car design to hear just mic chatter in my ear, not full audio. This is a good headset for the price, but it's not without its compromises. The fit on my head is not perfect. It's both tight on my ears and loose on the top of my head. Granted, I have a big head. But for a couple of hours of gameplay at a time, I'm happy with it.

I recommend well, my friends also bought it and prefer it to others. You only hear the party audio with your friends and with open ear hear the game audio from monitor.
