I bought this one and it's awesome. The lights come on when the remote senses movement and completely controls anything you need it to on your xbox and other devices

The quality seems to be on par with the OEM Microsoft media remote, but with much more functionality. The backlighting is very good and only comes on when the remote detects movement.

You have buttons for pausing and fast forwarding which can be easier than the controller. It isn't hard to hold because the bottom is very smooth.

Great Remote

And it's great that the backlight comes on as soon as it is moved. My only complaint is that the keys on the bottom half do not work in most apps but that is likely due to the app developers than the remote manufacturer.

Very Helpful Remote

However, I do not like using controllers. I am always hitting the wrong button. So I saw this X-box remote on the website and immediately purchased it. It makes like so much easier. I am more likely to watch a movie on the X-box than than TV thanks to this remote. It's very easy to use.

It illuminates the buttons for a few seconds just by picking it up, moving it a bit, or pressing buttons. Feels good in your hand, like it almost has a rubber finish to it so it won't slip, buttons and all.

I prefer the button placement of Insignia's remote, but this is certainly much more responsive. A little bizarre at worst, but some more logical setup would've made it perfect. Definitely worth it at its price point.
