i bought is as a gift for my family members. After using it myself found it as a controller with flexibility and performance across PS5, PS4, and PC. Its modular design lets you swap layouts, triggers, and even add a fight pad module, making it adaptable to different play styles. The Hall‑effect thumbsticks feel precise and durable, eliminating worries about stick drift. While it doesn’t include Sony’s signature haptics or adaptive triggers, it makes up for that with strong battery life and responsive gameplay. Overall: Premium controller that shines for competitive players.

Mainly use this for fighting games on my PC and PS5. The d-pad pre-installed is great for my motion inputs (the diamond shape, not the + plus d-pad) and the buttons feel responsive. Do keep in mind that this does not have any rumble or haptics but this does help increase the battery life dramatically compared to the Dualsense. The trigger stops are great for some moves that require me to mash triggers (Vi's Super 2 in 2XKO) and are great for shooters. I had to use the PC software to adjust the deadzones as they were way to sensitive, which caused me to accidentally fire or do a move when not desired. After they were calibrated and I have my stops where I wanted, it's great. The back buttons are useful for shooters to allow jumping and aiming easily, however, I've accidentally hit the buttons a few times by mistake. On a good sale, this controller is definitely worth it.

If you’re a competitive gamer looking for a customizable, ultra-responsive controller, the Victrix Pro BFG is a fantastic choice. It outshines many other third-party controllers with its modular features, responsiveness, and overall premium feel. Definitely one of the best pro controllers for PS5!

Loved this controller but ultimately returned it for a dualsense edge. I really missed the haptic rumble stuff and the bigger size, this controller was probably one of the coolest little gadgets i’ve owned though and the build quality was superb, swapping modules was awesome and easy and it all felt grippy and responsive.

**Rating: ★★★★☆ (Good)** The **Victrix Pro BFG Wireless Controller** for PS5, PS4, and PC is an impressive piece of gaming hardware, blending top-tier performance with customizable features that appeal to both competitive gamers and casual players. With a sleek, ergonomic design, it's clear that the controller was built for comfort and long gaming sessions. **Performance and Features:** The Victrix Pro BFG shines when it comes to **precision** and **responsiveness**. The modular buttons, clutch triggers, and adjustable joysticks allow for a high degree of customization. You can swap out button modules and even fine-tune the sensitivity of the triggers, giving you a tailored gaming experience. This level of customization is especially useful for pro-level players looking for an edge in competitive gameplay. The **Sony 3D Audio support** further enhances the immersion, providing rich, directional sound when paired with compatible games on PS5. The **wireless performance** is solid, offering a stable connection with minimal latency. It pairs seamlessly with PS5, PS4, and PC, making it versatile across different platforms. The controller’s **build quality** feels premium, with a comfortable grip that fits well in your hands, even during extended play sessions. The tactile feedback from the buttons and the triggers is satisfying, though it might feel a bit stiffer compared to other controllers, which is a preference-based thing. **Design and Comfort:** The controller’s **design** is modern and aggressive, with a matte black finish and distinctive angular lines. It feels solid without being too heavy, and the ergonomic layout ensures that the controller is comfortable for long periods. The **modular buttons** are a great touch, allowing you to swap out the button layouts or even adjust the tension of the thumbsticks for personalized comfort and control. **Battery Life:** The **battery life** is good but not exceptional. With typical use, you can expect around 8-10 hours of playtime on a single charge, which is in line with most wireless controllers in this range. It's not the best out there, but it's certainly serviceable for most gaming sessions. **Drawbacks:** One area where the Victrix Pro BFG falls short is its **price point**. It is more expensive than standard controllers, which could be a significant investment for those not looking for all the high-end features. Additionally, while the **modular design** is a big selling point, it might not appeal to everyone. Casual gamers may find it a bit unnecessary, especially since the default configuration works fine for most. Another small issue is the **lack of onboard storage** for the button modules. The controller comes with a few extra modules, but you’ll need to keep them in a separate case or pouch, as there isn’t an easy way to store them when not in use. **Conclusion:** Overall, the **Victrix Pro BFG Wireless Controller** is an excellent choice for serious gamers looking for a high-performance, customizable controller that offers a professional edge. While the price may be a deterrent for some, the features and build quality justify the investment for competitive players or those looking to upgrade their gaming experience. It strikes a good balance between performance, customization, and comfort, making it a solid pick for PS5, PS4, and PC users.

The controller feels good and the back buttons are just perfectly placed. The module swap is neat but 2 major things that this controller is missing. 1- Hall Effect sensors. You can now buy them separately. 2- There are no adaptive triggers. If you own a PS5 and play PS5 exclusives, then not having adaptive triggers is like ordering a PB&J and they only give you Jelly lol. Overall, its good because if you are into fighting games then this is great. The build quality is so-so, but I do like you can also swap out the D-Pad

According to my son, this is the end all be all. This thing can do everything except make breakfast! There are detachable parts where you can move the configuration around. The placement of the controls is easier for his fingers (according to him). I have heard no complaints from him. We purchased the white model on sale. The other one was twice as much and no way would I have spent that much no matter how awesome this thing is. His friend liked it so much, he went out and purchased one as well.

I loved the PS4 compatibility, the ability to customize the buttons (which was very easy), and the overall shape of it (my preference leans more toward the Xbox controller than the PS). But two things prevented me from keeping it... no dual sense capability (??) and placement of the rear, programmable buttons. As far as the former goes, the PS5 console wouldn't recognize when the controller would tilt. If you're not playing Ghost of Tsushima, this may not be an issue for you. Insofar as the rear button placement, they are exactly where my fingers rest and support the controller. So accidental button presses were inevitable and frequent.

The controller keeps the Gambit’s comfy SX‑style shape but with a much better build. It’s lighter, grippier, and snappier across the board... Quick bumpers, smooth joy sticks, great triggers, and responsive face buttons. Swappable sticks, KontrolFreek support, and a raised SX‑style D‑pad are big wins. Back buttons land naturally, battery life is solid, profiles are handy, and it even works with the Mayflash adapter on SX (minus audio).

My husband and I both love this controller. Bought it for him for his PS5 and the feature of being able to use it for PS4 and PC is also a plus. Some of our favorite things about it are the paddles underneath it, makes it great for game play. The lightweight feel to the controller is awesome. The fact you can change the button controls out to switch it to be like and Xbox controller if you prefer that and the fighting pad controls you can put on it. Overall the design and color is amazing, I got the Call of Duty design and when you’re playing the logo on the pad of the controller glows purple. Would overall recommend this controller especially over scuf controllers.

OKAY! This controller is really solid. The build quality is great, which is why it is expensive. The buttons and triggers feel good. Here is where I gave it 3 stars. When using it on a PC, your PC picks it up as an Xbox controller, not a PS. Sometimes, it scrambles the buttons, and you must go into the game settings to remap them. I would've given it a pass if they included the Xbox buttons (X,A,Y,B) layout in the box. It took me a few gameplays to memorize the buttons for Xbox (I.e, Square = X, Triangle = Y, X = A, O = B). They should send a software update to force Windows to pick this up as a PS controller, not Xbox because this is a PS controller. OR, let us use the PS4 or 5 selectors when using it on a PC. OR include the Xbox button layout in the box, or provide a 50% discount if you're using this on a PC as well. Something. If anyone from the company wants to reach out to give me a trick to force this on my PC, I am all ears. The PC software to configure or tweak the controller is not beginner-proof. This was my first elite-style controller, and I had to take a crash course on some of the features this controller offers. They should have a tutorial or a better explanation of what happens when you change a setting. If their target audience is those who know, then I get it.

It’s a good controller and got it on sale for $100. Only issue I have is in the back where you lock the r2 and L2 buttons sometimes it’s useful sometimes it’s in the way and locks it

Its a great controller so far I've had It for a couple of weeks everything is very responsive. Some people say their L2/R2 buttons are sticky and at first i thought the same but you just have to get used to holding the controller also the paddles on the back are wonderfully placed and the customization of the controller is unmatched and you can set a profile for each game you play.

The controller is great. The hair triggers are awesome and the design is beautiful, the con side is that the dongle and you need a to have windows 10 or 11 to update the controller. Another con is for a license PlayStation controller You cannot turn on the console with the controller.

As a guy who has both the Xbox and PlayStation platforms i really love this controller it’s shaped very similar to the Xbox controller which is my favorite of the 2 platforms not to mention that the grips on it feel pretty nice and I like that there is no feedback on the triggers that the PlayStation has which I’m not a big fan of I like how you could switch things around and even switch out the triggers if they ever get busted what 100% buy this controller again if I never broke

A solid gaming controller. I am a semi pro Tekken player and attend tournaments accross the US. This is the best controller on the market currently, i have ownes the different models of the HORI fighting commander and the Razer Raion this is a solid competitor. My only issues are the face buttons on the fightpad are sharp edged not rounded so doing certain sweeping button imputs can get caught so it takes some time to adapt. Also the locking switches for the long travel shoulder buttons can slip ibumped, And the software could use an update. But its a great controller especially if you have larger hands and prefer a six button face layout.
