    Nice bulb with infinite colors and Wi-Fi built in. Most smart Bulb apps seem to work. Interfaces with Echo. Range extender may be necessary if too far from router.

    This product was kind of hard to use. The first bulb i used couldn't get it to connect to wifi. The second one was a lot better but still troublesome. You have to use their own app and then merge it will Alexa. Too many steps. Not user friendly at all.

    Create the Ultimate Home Lighting Experience regardless the occasion. The Peace by Hampton Light Bulbs are fantastic and they allow anyone, in just about any place, create the ultimate home or work lighting experience regardless of the occasion. I’ve had these light bulbs for a couple days now and I absolutely love them. It almost doesn’t do them justice, when referring to them just as light bulbs. They are a colorful lighting experience that can help positively alter your mood. I have a set of four Peace by Hampton Light bulbs that have a full color spectrum and they offer endless possibilities from bright white, to red and every color in between. The bright white light includes a warm white to cool daylight. The accompanying mobile app is equally as impressive as the bulbs themselves and is a five start app which allows you almost complete control of the bulbs (as well as many other compatible connected devices) via your cellular phone. It changes the way you experience movies, watch TV, have conversations, listen to music, working or studying at home. The app and the bulbs together work to create and/or enhance your desired mood. The Peace by Hampton Light Bulb app displays your local outside and inside temperature. The app has lots of options so there’s no excuse to have boring lighting. The Peace by Hampton Light Bulbs setup is easy via the app and connects to and works with your home wi-fi. It’s easy to do firmware updates. You can share your device with other family members so that they can control the lights from their phones as well. You can create groups of lights to control simultaneously. You’re able to name each light bulb for easy visual and control. You’re able to view your bulbs in list and grid views. You can create schedules, you can control your Peace by Hampton Light Bulbs by using your voice (Alexa and Google Assist). You can control them by a simple tap, you can choose automations, set alarms, get notifications for weather and access to your system. There is a frequently asked questions section and tips right within the app. There are several levels of security and control.     I really like these light and for the sale price they were worth it. My only problem is the colors aren’t as bright as the white setting.

      Try connecting with use of "AP Mode" if you could not add your bulb using EZ Mode. The app automatically defaults to EZ Mode.

    I wasn’t able to connect it to my Amazon Alexa at all. The brightness wasn’t at best comparing to other brand

    So, I’ll start this by saying if you have these bulbs and you’re having issues know that there is a firmware upgrade that may need to happen in order for it to work properly. The best way I found for the firmware upgrade to push to each bulb is to set up or reset the bulb and once connected just leave it on for at least a half an hour. You should get the upgrade pushed to the bulb at some point in that duration and will get a notification on the device that has the app installed. After that everything works properly. Which is unfortunate though, because in an ideal world these bulbs would have never been shipped without this firmware upgrade. Connecting the bulb to your wife is fairly easy, but initially confusing. To date, I have not been able to automatically connect any of the four light bulbs initially using that option in the app. I’ve had to do it manually with each one. It’s also confusing to me what the difference is between the slow blink and rapid blink in terms of set up. To get in either mode you will need to turn the light off and on five times - ten if trying to get to slow blink mode (I think - still confused). It’s just all a little less than seamless. Once I had that first bulb connected I of course wanted to change the color and try that out. It’s easy enough to do, but then it would get stuck on one color and nothing could be done in the app to change it. Eventually it will disconnect from the network entirely. This is exactly what the firmware has fixed, but again... if you don’t know this it can be especially frustrating. Trust me - connect your bulb to WiFi, leave it at the color it is, and let it upgrade the firmware. Otherwise you’ll be pulling your hair out. But with that out of the way, I’m really happy with what I can do with these bulbs. The schedule feature is fantastic for a kid’s room where lights can automatically go out now instead of having to come back in their room to do it manually. I have all the bulbs set up on Google Home (which is as easy as linking your account in the Home app) and from there you can set up a ton of routines or just have the added convenience of switching the light on or off via voice. I have an Amazon Dot but have not tried connecting to Alexa, but I imagine the process is similar. You can also change the colors and brightness in the Google Home app, which is great if you prefer it to Hampton’s own app (which is by no means terrible). And you can always just set a color/brightness level and flip it on or off at the switch like you would any other light in your house. I don’t know why you’d buy these just for that, but hey - to each its own. And I assume that if you’re internet is down you’ll still be able to use the light, which is obviously a must. All in all, good product. Just get through those initial labor pains and you’ll be set.

    One of them arrived broken. Pretty average for smart bulbs. Mostly I’m just disappointed about the broken bulb.

    These bulbs are very nice and they're very easy to get the app working and setup. Tip: download the app BEFORE you plug them in. Once you plug them in they start blinking and you only have so long to sync. If you miss the window you have to turn on and off five times and it's sort of hit or miss if you can do it. Anyways, download the app before you start screwing in the bulb and you'll be fine. These bulbs are very easy to manipulate individually using the app and it's very intuitive but there is no way to setup a method to control all the bulbs using the exact same light, brightness, etc which is sort of disappointing. Indirectly you can set up a command using one button push mechanics but that's not quite the same and does take a little time. Also, the bulbs claim to be compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant and while Google Assistant picked them right up I've spent an indordinate amount of time trying to get Alexa to recognize them but Alexa will not and unfortunately I use Alexa most everywhere in my house. So aside from those complaints I would recommend these bulbs as very nice and programmable. They also are really, REALLY bright, when using white, as in tremendously bright. RECOMMENDED.

    Upon receiving the light bulbs I was very excited to try them out. I went ahead and install them in my dinning room area. First of all, you have to download the app to be able to set them up. The app walks you through all the steps ( make sure to follow ALL directions). Once set up with the app, you can go ahead and play and adjust to your preference and it has all the colors you can think of. You can also change the brightness to your liking. These light bulbs are compatible with Google home and Alexa and responds to voice command which I think is awesome. I will definitley be changing all of my old light bulbs to these.I love the way you can control the illumination during any time of the day.

    These are the coolest bulbs I have ever seen, I sat playing with all the colors for quite awhile. They are LED which is great & all controls are done through the app which was super easy to set up. You can schedule a timer from the app for turning on & off, I did & it worked great, nice for vacation that you can control from anywhere. I tried connecting with Alexa but didn’t have any luck there. These bulbs are equal to a 60 watt bulb & in the white mode range from warm white to cool daylight. The colors go from pink, orange, green, yellow, blue & every color in between, 16 million colors, you can change it with the season or mood or color changing if you prefer. There are also settings for different scenes like night, reading, working & more where it gets brighter or dimmer. The light can be turned on & off by the power switch on the app it just has to remain switched on all the time. I found the cool daylight to be quite bright but each hue is dimmable & can go from bright to dim quickly. I really like that feature because bright light gives me a headache & this eliminates having to buy multiple bulbs to find the perfect one. They’re a bit expensive but totally worth it!

    A Terrible Smart Bulb Set

    I wanted this set to better liven up my living room lighting and intended to replace all 8 overhead rail lights, but this set completely let me down. It requires so much just to set up the app to connect the bulbs and after I finally got the app set up done the bulbs never connected, the instructions were not detailed and so getting them connected is a nightmare. I had too many issues and the app just kept saying to repeat the process or blames the wifi, despite every other thing in my place not having an issue with the wifi. I got so fed up trying multiple times to connect them that I just gave up and use them as regular bulbs, they are a very bright white so they work for that only. I seriously do not recommend these bulbs unless you have the patience to deal with frustrating tech.
