This camera clip is a game-changer. The clip is well made (feels heavy duty) and securely attaches my camera to my sling bag or backpack strap, providing a stable and secure carrying method. Easy to install and I love the secure lock and easy release features.

    Best solution for on-the-go shooting

Overall the build quality of the Capture Clip is fantastic. If you're looking for a solution to the dreaded camera-flipping-about problem that happens with a neck strap, this is for you. You can tell that Peak Design puts a lot of time and effort into thinking about their packaging, and it really helps this feel like a premium product. But you know what's more important than that? It works wonders. Depending on your hand size and the size of your camera, you can quickly get used to releasing the camera with one hand with ease. When the camera is attached to the plate, there is very little bounce to it. I suspect that with larger cameras and lenses that might start to change, but when compared to the traditional keep-it-in-a-bag or neck strap, it's miles ahead. I've got mine installed on an Osprey Talon 22 backpack with a Sony A6100, and the only real complaint I have is that the strap on the Osprey Talon 22 is a bit on the wide side, and I had to squish it a bit to install the capture plate, as seen in the attached picture. It ended up working, but it still felt.. wrong.

    A must-have for the hiker / photographer

I mounted this baby to my 5.11 backpack and man what a huge help this will be on those long hikes. When using a sling strap, no matter what I did, the camera would bang against not only my hip but my cell phone (which I also carry on my hip), which could potentially damage either device. It was simple to install, set up. I took a little test hike just to see how secure it was. Not only was it nice and secure, but it also was really easy to dismount the camera with the quick release tab when you have to take that quick shot that you weren't prepared for. Thumbs up!!

This device is so convenient when you are hiking, even when you are traveling and bring your camera with you. I set it up on one of the straps of my backpack and it's super convenient, way better than having your camera bouncing around when you are walking as with the original strap.

I bought this for a 10 day Caribbean cruise, when I was out exploring, it was on my camera bag and made it so easy to just reach and grab the camera. I also purchased the POV mount for it and when I snorkeled, I attached clip to my bathing suit strap and slid the go pro on. So very happy with this purchase

It’s easy to put on and although you think you shooing trust holding your camera, believe me, trust it. It’s easier to make the camera accessible when needed and less bags to carry with you. I highly recommend investing in one. It comes with a little pouch to keep your tools and product in.

I love this capture clip. I use it for when im walking with my kids to places. I own the Brevite Runner backpack, and i love having it on one of my shoulder straps as opposed to the quick access pocket on the backpad.

Best Clip I have ever owned. Also the FASTEST!

This clip is rugged and fast. It is super easy to set up, light, and comfortable. I have 2. I wear one normally on my day pack shoulder strap attach my camera with lens to it allowing my chest/shoulders to carry the camera weight. If I need space to use my arms, I will move the camera down to one on my side, attached to my belt. The speed at which I can quickly snap up my camera from this mount is what really sets Peak's clip ahead of the competition. I have used other mounts where I need to twist and turn or lift in a special way. These mounts tend to stick, or not work the first try, they also have a tendency to loosen or come apart. I have been using this Peak Clip for 2 years now and absolutely love them. It has truly held up and has taken a beating in those two years.

I have a heavy setup (Canon 70d with Battery Grip) and was nervous at first using this to hold it on to their 6L Sling Bag. But after using it a few times during a few hikes, the nervousness went away and just know that it's secure. I love this thing! Obviously it's great for securing you setup onto a bag or belt while moving around, playing with the kids, setting things up or whatever you need to do while not having a camera in your hand; but it's really nice that you can lock it in 4 different ways which makes changing lenses so much easier, quicker and safer! Also, it comes with a lifetime warranty like all of their products!

While I was a bit hesitant at first due to the cost, after using this for a few months I can say confidently that it's worth it. The parts are all of very high quality and hold my camera securely, I'm never worried about it coming loose or falling off. Much more convenient to use than a standard strap or keeping it in a backpack (even one with a dedicated camera compartment).

I have this Capture clip attached to a Peak Design 5L Sling and my Nikon D750. The clip attached very easily to the bag and to my camera. When holding the camera, it is very secure, and I have not had any issues with the camera coming lose or moving around. I love the convenience of the Capture system and feel it is a worthy investment for photographers who are on the go but want to always have their camera close at hand and ready to go.

The Peak Design Capture Camera Clip has transformed how I carry my camera during hikes and travel. Attaching it to my backpack strap keeps my camera secure and readily accessible, eliminating the need for a neck strap. The quick-release mechanism allows for swift camera access, ensuring I never miss a shot. Its durable aluminum construction and compatibility with Arca-type tripod plates add to its versatility. While it handles my mirrorless setup effortlessly, heavier DSLR gear might require additional support. Overall, it's an invaluable tool for photographers seeking convenience and reliability on the move.

Love this Peak Design Capture Clip. Clipping it on my backpack or belt makes it so accessible. It also takes the weight off of my neck when using the strap. My only hesitation would be using a long or heavy lens, but with lighter primes, it's awesome. Quality build. Very secure when on.
