Looking forward to checking this out hopefully its better than X

If Mia Goth doesn't get nominated for an academy award for her performance then something is seriously wrong! You feel for the character as she's gradually coming unhinged in her seemingly hopeless situation, and the beginning of the end credits is freaky but displays Goth's commitment to the character. Excellent performance!

Its good only if you watch the 1st this way you know whats going on

If you are a fan of this T west series, this is a must. A prequel about Pearl, a character that’s integral to the first movie ,X. Great story and totally different style which fits the time it takes place in. Must watch.

Great addition to the genre. Mia Goth is fantastic as Pearl; in this prequel follow up to X. She delivers a great performance, and of course the blood is still here. Great movie

I loved this movie when I saw it in theaters and I love it even more now that I can watch it whenever I want the slipcase is nice but there aren’t that many special features

I loved X, and Pearl adds another level to it! I’ve watched them as a double feature twice now. These movies aren't for everyone. But they sure were made for me.

Pearl is a prequel to the fun slasher that released earlier in 2022 titled, “X”. Pearl is by far the better film with a much more interesting plot and tone.

Absolutely love Mia Goth in this, she is amazing as Pearl. This movie also really adds to X, so if you like that movie youll love this one!

Pretty good prequel that complements “X”. It’s one of those movies that definitley gets better on second viewing.

Oh Pearl, what have you done. Love the way the mo ie was filmed and once again A24 made it weird in a good way.

I enjoyed the movie but it wasn't as great as "X". Pearl is more of a character backstory which made it a little slow at times. I would watch it again though cause it was interesting.

I have not watched yet but the Blu-ray came in great shape. Mia goth is lovely, she's a star!

This was a good movie, slow burn until the middle thats when it starts getting good

It is technically very well made, and it has some truly standout sequences, but I found this film to be over long and extremely talky. As a matter of fact at one point in the film everything stops so the lead actress can do it 13 minute monologue while setting at a table. I really wanted to like it, but the truth is this isn't really a horror film. Nothing horrific even really happens until the very end of the movie. Until then I would consider it a character study and a drama.
