A huge upgrade from Timexes. It is less than perfect, but I still remember my Timex, and Pebble has so much more functionality. App usage varies with your needs, so let me list instead the peeve that drops a star. I saluted that it notified me if I walked out of bluetooth range from my phone until I found out that notification is tied to an app, and that the watch has a tendency to flip, without input from me, from that app to others that don't include the functionality. If disconnect notification were a core function instead of only when a particular app is active, five stars. As things stand, four stars.

The Pebble Steel still holds its own against the Apple Watches and Android Wears. It work as a great notification notifier (redundant I know) and still has a great app ecosystem.

After being an owner of the original Pebble, the Pebble Steel is a great upgrade with stainless steel and gorilla glass. I can go 5-7 days before needing to recharge it, and provides everything I need in a smart watch. Great product.

I love my Pebble watch so I bought this one for my husband for Christmas. Now he can never say he didn't hear his phone when I called because the watch vibrates on his wrist and yes I had an ulterior motive in buying it for him. LOL

Works very well great battery life about 5 days compared to others that barely last a day lots of apps and customizable

This watch is great if you are looking for minimal fitness tracking and notifications. It doesn't seem to do a whole lot more, but works great for those functions.

What I like about this watch is that it is always on. Unlike other smart watches it uses an e-ink display. Thus the display is always on. No need to raise your wrist or some other motion to turn the display on. If it is dark just twist your wrist a couple of times and the display will come on. Because it is e-ink, I can get about 3 days before I have to recharge. Other smart watches use lcd color displays that really must be charged every day. Sure I would like a touch display and the ability to have more than 8 apps on the watch at one time. But for what I want this watch works great. I highly recommend it.

Works right out of the box. Took awhile to set up but once you download the necessary apps and all. you're all set.

Entering into the whole "smart watch" arena was a jump not to be taken lightly. The other reviewers (there are many) liked this product, and so do I. Easy to setup and use, and large display makes using it even easier.

I really like the look of this pebble steel and the interchangeable bands, I would of given 5 stars but the notifications didn't connect so I returned it.

This watch works great. Like being able to see notifications without taking my phone out. Does everything that is expected, but just seems a bit pricey.

I purchased the original Pebble Steel after the price was drastically reduced. Pairing and setup was a little tricky but with a little patience all went well. There were plenty of watch faces and apps enough for me to be happy on the pebble app store. Although not as glamorous as the newer color watches out now, it is still a stylish watch. The battery life can't be beat from the E-ink display which has become the most important thing to me and can't imagine having to charge a watch every day or two. I easily get 5 or more days with moderate use.

I like the pebble but when I experienced some issues. I contacted CS via email (only option available). I didn't get a repsonse until six days later. I know they are a start-up but that's response time is unacceptable. The product itself is very cool. I do have daily issues with it loosiing bluetooth connection with my iphone so I would have to go to settings on my phone and turn bluetooth on and off to reestablish communications. Very annoying !!!

I was really impressed with this watch. There are several different watch faces to choose from along with several different app selections. My favorite feature is being able to control your phone's music controls. The only downside is the size of the watch face. It is a little small for bigger guys.

I love this watch! It has a 7 day battery life, and it is very reliable. I'll use the Pebble until they catch Android Wear up to match battery life.

I love my Pebble Steel. While it doesn't have the features of the other smartwatches (camera, phone, touch screen), it performs very well as a watch. It's very sleek and stylish. There's an endless supply of watchfaces, you can monitor your activities and sleep, you can control you phone's music and camera, you get notifications. My only gripe is that the strap brace is very unique and it limits your ability to purchase more watch straps without having to modify them or purchase a separate connector. All in all, I'm very happy with this.

Rugged and easy to use. Always stays connected to phone. Great for reading texts and to know who is calling without looking at phone.

This is a good watch and works great; sometimes it looses bluetooth connectivity which can be annoying as your not getting alerts then.
