At first I was turned off by this watches almost toy like appearance, but it's simplicity has definitely grown on me very quickly. It is incredibly comfortable and extremely durable. Seriously, It can take a beating and even go under water. This thing goes wear you go and works just as hard. Sure, the screen isn't amazing looking and colorful like others, but they do that for a reason. I have been wearing it for 6 days now and have not needed to recharge the battery at all. AMAZING! The apps and functions are designed with the user in mind and apply very well to real life. It's not most fancy watch, but it is definitely the best one in terms of quality, comfort and affordability. PEBBLE ROCKS!!!

Upgrading from the original pebble to the Apple Watch seemed like a no brainer for someone with an iPhone. However after lookin at the 18hr battery life and overall higher price, I decided to go with the pebble time. I realize that it may not be as "integrated into iOS" as an Apple Watch, but the pebble time does everything a smart watch should do. Notifications, check. Caller id, check. Playback controls, check. It does what I want a smart watch to do, which is to complement my phone and allow me to decide whether or not I need to answer that call, respond to that text/email ect. I don't want the watch to replace my phone, I just want it to allow me to sit through a meeting/dinner/family time without having to constantly check my phone whenever it goes off. Add to this the ecosystem that pebble has with its developers and you have a unique, feature full device that isn't afraid to work with both iOS and android divides.

As of the writing of this review, I have owned the Pebble Time for a week and have not encountered problems. The watch is a good update from the original. You can now use more than eight apps on the watch, the iOS update is more useful and the look is wearable. I also am very pleased with the battery life, I have used it for five days without charging. The only feature I would like is the ability to talk on the watch similar to the Apple watch. The price is right. As of the date of this review, I have not used the sports and other features. This is were it exceeds the Apole watch.

I originally had the 1st generation Pebble watch and liked the functionality of it. Unfortunately that one quit working, so I decided to upgrade to this one. I wanted a watch that was customizable and could display weather, time, date, text messages and calls. If it had health tracking, great. This does everything I need it to. The improvements I've noticed so far over the original Pebble are 1) More comfortable. The first watch had a longer body and the corners would shift uncomfortably against my wrist. The band is also a more flexible silicone type material. 2) Color display. 3) Pebble health included onboard. It's not as detailed as say a Fitbit, but it tracks steps and sleep alright. I'm sure with the wealth of apps available there's something that can get even more out of the readings. As always one of my favorite things about this watch is that it is easy to read in direct light. I've also seen many music remote apps online, but I've yet to find a music app that the onboard one doesn't work with at least for skipping songs. I haven't fiddled much with the voice texting, and I doubt I'll really use it that much but it's nice to have there. Overall it was a good buy. You can't beat the functionality for the value.

it has all the features i need, alerts, emails, phone calls, texts, reminders, and the features to turn off the spam of alerts. plus the pebble has a week of battery life. which why would i want to have a device that i have to charge everyday, my smart phone is annoying enough on its own for this i don't need more devices like that. but the pebble really has more features on the time version then the original which i was coming from, so i am continuing to play with it, also the fact that its waterproof was nice as i can take it swimming and tubbing and leave my phone in a waterproof container and still get alerts that i need on the go.

I have had it for a few days now. Here are my thoughts: Pros: 1) The battery life is pretty good. The watch can last about a week on a charge. 2) The always on screen technology that the Pebble time uses allows you to always see the time without over using battery life. 3) This watch has buttons. I prefer buttons to touch screen. I really like a touch screen but if it's raining it basically disables any touch screen function. 4) All of the things that come with a smart watch. Notifications, being a watch, voice to text messaging. It shows caller ID on the watch so you can see whether or not you want to take your phone out or leave it alone. 5) Lots of apps and screens to choose from Cons: 1) I'd be nice if you could answer the phone with it 2) I don't like the way the apps are set up on the Pebble time. This would be a challenge on any watch-sized screen, but I've seen it done better. If you have any amount of apps on there at all you have to scroll through several screens to get to what you want. 3) Whereas I said there are a lot of apps and screens to choose from, many leave a lot to be desired. Took me a while to find what I wanted to put on the watch. Overall I am pleased with this watch.

Getting all my notifications on my wrist is wonderful! I'm not a "tech" person, but in my line of work, I need to know when someone is contacting me. I love that I can see whose calling, read emails and texts, and reply to messages using the built in microphone! I no longer have to worry about missing a notification because my phone is silenced and tucked away somewhere. I also love that I can personalize my watch faces depending on my mood and needs. This is one of my all time favorite purchases! The long-lasting battery is a definite plus, too!

So, my wife and I did the swap from android phones to iphone, and we have to give up all our NICER LG smart watches. We didn't feel like buying a apple watch just yet, so we decided to go for pebble watch. Pebble Time is cheaper that the apple watch but it looks more girly in my opinion in comparison to the pebble steel. It does what it suppose to do, send you notifications, has an alarm, voice command. I don't think is a SMARTHWATCH, it is a watch that has nice options. By the way battery is awesome.

A great alternative to expensive smartwatches. The fact that it doesn't have a touchscreen doesn't bother me but it might some. The best part is that the battery lasts for days. Not your conventional smartwatch, but if you're ok with buying a piece of technology that isn't the most glamorous, then I would recommend it as the best bang-for-your-buck at the moment (2015-early 2016).

This is a great watch for those with iPhone who don't want to spend $500+ for an Apple Watch. Like the always on display you can easily read it even without the backlight, even in low light. screen is scratch resistant. Will go 2 days between charges and still have half of the battery life remaining ( don't like to pull a li ion battery all the way down as this will shorten it's life)

This watch is fantastic! Looking past the color screen and the slightly modified UI, using it is about the same as the original Pebble. It is just as reliable and user friendly as the original. I am a big fan of the new microphone for voice responses. I am hoping in future updates, they allow for voice commands such as those to generate a text message or set a calendar appointment. HEADS UP ABOUT THE BEZEL: The bezel scratches easily! If you want to keep this thing pretty, you MUST get a screen/bezel protector. Luckily for me and others who have learned this lesson the hard way, they make bezel protectors in the same color as the watch, so it looks good as new! Overall, great and reliable product. I tried some android wear watches, but the world simply isn't ready for them yet. Their battery lives are way too short for their limited usefulness. The pebble is just right for 2015!

Pros: -Easy to use -Notifications are displayed quickly and reliably -Can choose which apps to display notifications from -Battery lasts about 6 days -Comes with several useful apps preinstalled -Many free apps and watchfaces can be downloaded from the Pebble app -Watchface is very visible in light and has a backlight for using it in the dark -Band is comfortable Cons: -Can't answer calls on Android (this is a function built into the Android OS) -Some text can be too small for people with weaker eyesight. There is an option in the settings to make the font larger, but it doesn't apply to all text. -Default Weather app wouldn't update automatically for me. Downloaded a different one and that worked. -Default Music app only worked with Play Music. Bought Music Boss app to fix this. -Watch isn't very useful if you don't get many notifications or if you don't use your phone's calendar or notes app for reminders.

Battery Life: 3-5 Days Allows me to keep my phone on silent so I do not disturb others and am able to see all text/email/call notifications. You can reply to texts using your voice or pre written responses that you can customize. I enjoy the watch faces that show more information than your average watch. I always wear a watch and this one allows me to see three weeks worth of days and dates which is very helpful when scheduling events. I'm able to take a look at my schedule for the day/week and not even have to take out my phone. I use this watch with a Nexus 6 and am thoroughly enjoying the experience thus far.

I have had the Samsung Gear Live for almost a year and just recently switched over to the Pebble Time. To me these smart watch manufactures are making the same mistakes that the smart phone companies did in the past. They get carried away with the "Features" and forget what the product is supposed to be. I wanted a Watch, that could also alert me and tell me when someone is calling. The Pebble time does exactly what I need it to do. Notifications and it tells me time. I wouldn't go back to Android wear or the apple watch. This device is everything so far I would hoped it would be. Long battery life is the key!

I really wasn't in the market for a smart watch when my husband purchased it for my birthday. It did take me a few days to get use two and now I LOVE it. Upon charging, the face does seem very dim, but with a shake of your wrist, it lights up well. I was able to add apps to connect my facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, ect for all their notifications. When replying back to a text, the voice recognition is about 90% accurate. I've added other apps that better fit me. The steps and sleep counter is a pretty neat feature, never realized I walked so much. I also use a weather app for updated info, a TV guide to remind me what shows are on, ESPN for all the updates and scores on my favorite teams and so much more. It is not a touch screen, which I'm OK with, and it is water proof to a certain amount, overall, it sold me a features and ease of use. I would and have recommend this product to both Android and Apple users

Having owned the original Pebble for two years now, I decided to buy this for my fiance as a gift. She loves it! As far as smart watches go, this is by far the best for the money. It is waterproof, drop proof, and the battery life lasts for days! The only complaints are: Battery life (about 4-5 days) The bevel is not scratch resistant. The screen is lasting, but the metal around the screen is easily scratched.

The Pebble Time is exactly what a smart watch should be. Simple OS, physical buttons, battery life for dayzz, not crazy expensive, and ALWAYS ON. If you get a lot of notifications, and usually only send one or two word texts, this watch is perfect. If you don't get many notifications, and usually send long messages, it wouldnt be as helpful. That being said, I love my Pebble. Everyone should get one.

I'm sure it doesn't compare to the Apple Watch but for all that I need it works for me. The price on sale was the best investment. It does have its issues like losing connection to the iPhone 4s but I don't like the iPhone 6 so I'm happy for now.

This was a gift for my 18 yr old son to pair with his iPhone 6. He loves it - the notifications, color display, easy to see in sunlight. The backlight doesn't stay on very long. but not a huge deal. It does what he wanted - it's not an Apple watch, but then it's less than half. Looks incredible and very comfortable and light. Overall very good.

I was 50/50 deciding to spend to try this smartwatch and am glad that I did cause it was better than any other watch I have tried before. I love the battery usage, notification, health fitness, water resistant and other features like alarm, quiet time as well as changing face watch. The only con is that I cannot reply from my carrier but other than that it is alright for the price that cannot missed.
