Ok--don't think the professional reviewer here actually watched it.
The secret word is Year. Not Happy New Year....
It is a star studded cast, I will also include Laurence Fishburne as Cowboy Bob and Epatha Merkerson as the mail lady.
He wasn't expecting his presents from his friends, the fruitcakes were actually ok as he was building a new wing with them to the playhouse. Santa couldn't take all the childrens presents around because there was so much for him, so he gives them all up--yes All of them ;-) This is is in the top 3 of my favorite Christmas movies/ shows.
We've had this on vhs (taped off of tv) for forever, it is nice to have a beautiful copy of it on dvd.
