Very disappointed with this Pelican product. I had it for a week when I dropped it on the tile floor in my house. It broke both hinges. I have 2 stars as it has a latch that will keep it secure and still provides some protection. I would not purchase this particular item again. Perhaps if they redesigned it.

While the case and design are good the plastic hinges are cheaply designed. Less than a year old.

Great case! Well worth it. The case is a bit bulky as a result of the case for the AirPods being a bit bigger than regular AirPods

Good quality 10/10 do recommend fully protected so the ear buds don't get lost.

If you are reading this review, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I recently purchased a Pelican marine case for my Apple AirPods Pro (3rd generation), and I have to say, I’m quite disappointed. The main issue with this case is the hinges. After just one drop, the hinges broke, rendering the case completely useless. This is a significant flaw, as it compromises the durability that Pelican is known for. I expected better protection for my AirPods, but unfortunately, the case did not live up to my expectations. This product is trash.

They looked like a good case at first, the first issue that came up is that the adhesive used prevents being able to take original case out to use pairing button, also i have already broken the case due to design weakness where the latch pin is. Would not recomend if you ate looking for a heafty case

Just not worth going through the warranty to get yet another one. My buddy had two break as well. A shame cause it looks slick.

I am beyond disappointed with this product. The first hinge broke a day out of my return window and it's the only reason I still have it, since then both hinges are broken and that was just with it hanging off my messanger bag. I am not rough with it and didn't have a major drop to cause the damage. If you're buying this to be rugged it is NOT the case for you. I had to do a warranty claim 16 days after purchase for an overpriced headphone case. I have used Pelican products before and been happy, so this was a huge let down.

I’m done with Pelican forever. I spent FORTY FREAKING DOLLARS FOR A CASE TO PROTECT MY AIRPODS AND IT HAS DISMANTLED ITSELF IN TWO MONTHS. Please don’t buy this trash! Until we stop buying this garbage, we won’t get something better. I REALLY wish I would’ve read the reviews, they’re not lying. One month in and the rubber flap to waterproof the case torn off with normal use and two months in, the case was in my pocket and the latch broke off and the hinge snapped on one side. I THINK it’s fallen two or three times off of a table height, I didn’t abuse this item, and even if I did, for $40i should be able to use it for target practice at the firing range!

Overall great case and durable too!!! The only issues I have is there is no way to see the charging light. But that’s not a show stopper.

[Employee of bestbuy] I upgraded to the airpod pro 3’s after losing my airpod pro 2’s after an ejection incident involving my old case hitting the ground. The pelican case for my pro 3’s is a fantastic option for securing my little investment. Fits on my keyring and ive had zero issus with it in the time I’ve owned it. Im in and out of a work truck during the day, and I do lots of yard work at home. The pelican case keeps my airpods safe and secure.

This case broke at the hinge. Only used it as a key chain to for my car keys. Very light usage. Only either was on my kitchen counter till I needed my car, or attached to the car's key ignition. When I needed my airpods, I opened the case. So It wasn't like I am actively doing Marine battles or out working in construction. There is no reason for this to only last less than a month.

The piece that holds the top on broke off the first week. Case is solid, it’s just the part that holds the top on that is lacking.

Unbelievably poor quality case. Mine has never been dropped an in just over 2 months both hinges broke. Without them it’s impossible to protect the AirPods from water. At $40 this is the worst value of anything I have ever purchased from Best Buy. The functionality is great when new but the hinges are under designed

Do Not Buy. Had this case for about 2 weeks and the poorly designed hinge broke. I am past my return period and Pelican wants me to send $8 to get my warranty processed. I refuse as I don’t want a case that will break in another 2 weeks.

The product claims to offer military-grade drop protection. However, I never dropped my AirPods case in my jacket, and yet, one day, I noticed that it was broken.

I bought this case around christmas and both hinges are already broken and it can be very uncomfortable in your pants pocket. I would not buy again!!

Gave this to my husband and he only used it 4 times. The lid on the hinge broke. Returning it. Pelican missed it for this case
