Absolutely enthralling psychological thriller from director Satoshi Kon. The animation isn't too flashy but still manages to be impressive. The directing is the best I have ever seen from an anime movie.

This movie is truly a mindbender in parts along with being a great anime thriller. GKids has done a wonderful job bringing this movie to Blu-ray. No digital code though for those looking for one.

Can’t go wrong with a Satoshi Kon film it’s a beautifully done movie that leaves you thinking about it days later. They had a good price on it at the store so i had to get it.

If anyone wants to argue animation is for kids, I would show them this. Incredible storytelling. Psychological thriller at its finest. Only thing is that video quality has lot to be desired. Barely better than DVD. It doesn’t look proper HD scan but merely upscaled from dvd source. Movie itself makes this must see. Just wished blu-ray was better.

Haunting as it is entertaining. The story really captivates you and leaves you with chills throughout. Cannot recommend this movie enough.
