one of the best games I've ever played. The gameplay loop in tartarus is addicting, not to mention the amazing music throughout battles. The day time loop of grinding social links and social stats never gets old, either. The story is one of the best, themtically, and the ending is a tearjerker that will stick with you for years. Cannot recommend enough.

A great revisit to the world of Persona 3. The game recreates the story of the base game with some welcome gameplay updates that make your time in the world less tedious while still retaining the charm of the original. While the game does only include the base game content the FES content like The Answer has been announced at the time of this writing 03/08/2024 to be released soon as DLC. While this could have been included with the game to begin with (especially at the $70 entry price point) and can be seen as a nostalgia money grab like many other companies have started resorting to, for a newcomer this is still a great game therefore 4/5 -1 one star for money grab. If you’ve played the original and don’t care for the updated graphics not enough is changed for this to be a day 1 $70 buy

This remake should be the faithful remake with updated graphics every developer team should aspire to mimic with the same level of care effort and quality. If i were to recommend and introduce someone into the series this would be the go to option next to royal.

I wonderful heart felt remake of a PlayStation classic. Great quality of life improvements while maintaining the original feel of the game and characters!

This is one of the best remakes ever! So many memories memories since the original Persona 3 game. Wonderful updated graphics, cutscenes, music, and same great storyline! What I did enjoy the a lot was the Social Links having voice acting throughout every single rank, giving more emotion in every rank rather than us having to read all the dialogue. But in general, there was a lot of voice acting with major and minor characters. The battle system pretty balanced and enjoy seeing personas/demons that I haven’t seen in years, making a come back and with great animation.

Persona 5 put this franchise on the map for new audiences who weren't already steeped in the Shin Megami Tensei/Persona games. And Persona 3 Reload is the next best game to scratch that itch (Persona 4 Golden is still good too, but lacks some of the modernization & quality of life features that they have absolutely stuffed into Reload - not to mention the visual updates & re recorded voice lines and music that flaunts every bit of Atlus's incredible talent).
If you like turn based and/or dungeon crawling and/or life sims and/or RPG goodness, Persona is a series that is becoming increasingly accessible across hard-core and more casual JRPG audiences. These games offer sizeable stories with lovable casts and aesthetic vibes nigh unparalleled. And while Reload may not be "the single, sole definitive version" of P3, it really is the best modern entry point for people to step into one of the greatest PS2 era JRPGs ever made.

If you have played persona 5, you will definitely like this one as well. It is a remake through and through so it does use some previous concepts that you might have seen in P5, but updates them to feel fresh, with amazing UI, graphics and music.
