Great game finally on the Switch. Over 100 hours of gameplay!

This game hooked me in and made me spend 90 hours in Tokyo! Love this stylish RPG. Definite pick up on the switch as it performs at a stable 30fps and the graphics look good in handheld.

As many have said before, P5/P5R is one of the best JRPGs of all time. The balance between social and turn based battle mechanics is second to non.

Persona 5 is by far the most popular release in the Shin Megami Tensei series - and for good reason. The beautiful game design, rich characters, and fun RPG mechanics keep fans like myself coming back. Slick steelbook issued with this switch release.

The game itself is good, but Bestbuy deliberately sold defective items. My box is destructive and they used tape to fix it, pretending nothing happened. I am really confused about whether it is responsible.

Fantastic JRPG, especially as a handheld! Awesome story, visuals, and really great characters that develop over time. Can be a bit of a grind sometimes, but that’s to be expected with RPGs, and these don’t detract from the overall experience. Each of the Persona titles are standalone stories, so you don’t need to have played the others to enjoy this great entry.

I’ve already played P5 both in its original version and Royal version on the PS4. Needless to say, I loved the game — the Royal version infinitely more with all of its quality of life upgrades, amazing new characters, and the additional 3rd semester storyline. The only thing that was missing was the ability to play this on a handheld system… This is easily one of the best JRPGs I’ve ever played with an endearing cast of characters, social sim bonding, slice of life moments, epic story, snappy and strategic combat, varied dungeons, and stellar jazz-inspired soundtrack. And now it’s available with all the DLC complete on the cartridge, no additional patches or downloads required, on the Switch where we can play it portable. Couldn’t ask for more!

This is the second Persona game I've played. The game world and story are interesting. The game pulled me into its world to the point that I try not to play unless I have at least two or three hours free. There are elements of grinding that can be annoying and repetitive. But, this is a minor annoyance. Get frustrated or stuck in the main game? No problem, you can unlock a card game to play with the game characters to unwind.

This game, no matter the platform you play it on, is an absolute masterpiece. Great story, characters, writing, gameplay, visuals and music make this an unforgettable experience. Even on a weaker console like the Switch the game runs at a rock solid 30fps and the visuals, while lower-res than on other systems, still look great due to the artstyle and aesthetic. A must have.

The game plays well on the Switch 1, albeit at a lower resolution and frame rate. I'm beyond happy to be able to play this on the go for a reasonable price.

Amazing Game, third time buying it and am loving being able to play with portability. Great turn based RPG with lots of dialogue and story!

Where to begin!! The story, voice acting, gameplay, and especially the style are all so great! I haven't played too many JRPGs before, but this game makes me want to go out and get so many more! If you have not played a Persona game, definitely check this one out!
