When it comes to the story, it is definitely filler, in this case it's separate from the main Persona 5/ Persona 5 Royal games. The gameplay is definitely on the tactical side (that's the "tactica" part of the name), and it's actually easy to pick up on the gameplay mechanics. It also encourages you to experiment with your party lineup (some give you movement bonuses, some give attack bonuses, etc.) Definitely an enjoyable game, one you will probably spend a decent amount of hours on.

Got this for my son who is really into Persona. He's now played this for hours. He says it is not quite as fun as some of the other Persona titles but still fun nonetheless. Since I got this at a great price on sale, no complaints!

Great game for a great price. Similar enough to games like Xcom, but with the Persona flair that makes the series unique. P5 fans will enjoy this game, even if you’re new to tactical RPGs.

If you’re wanting more of the Persona 5 experience this is a great game with familiar characters in a new art style.

A good fast paced SRPG. If you like the Mario Rabbids games you will like this as its similar in that it takes a more arcade approach to the genre.
