Best version! I love BBC! It's the perfect combination of book and movie!

Excellent movie. I bought both the 1995 aversion and the 2004. Both are excellent, but I favor the later version with Sally Hawkins and Henry Penry-Jones. I got the videos quite quickly. So thank you.

Although it may have been a bit short, and did not include some of my favorite moments in the novel, this adaptation of the novel captured the spirit of the novel and captured my favorite moments with an excellent cast.

Love this movie! Was really happy Best Buy had it. Delivery was easy and price was reasonable. Older movie but quality still good.

If you liked Pride and Prejudice then you will like Persuasion. This production make a great effort to bring the love story of a spinster who was persuaded by those around her to spurn the love of a man beneath her socially. Years later the man returns back from war a rich man in search of a wife. The casting is well done, and the actors did a great job bringing the story to life.

This was a great adaptation of a classic book! I really loved it!

I've seen several movies base on the novel and this is by far the best. Sally Hawkins is a very dutiful Anne. Rupert Penry-Jones is exactly how you'd want Capt. Wentworth to look and act. Ends wonderfully. Pop your popcorn and prepsre for a delightful movie experience!

I am a true Jane Austen fan, but the actors who played Ms. Elliot and Captain Wentworth (Sally & Rupert) are awesome actors.. They bought the characters to life..
