While Fifa' s had very few updates and differences compared to last year, PES has stepped up a lot, both in terms of graphics and gameplay. Much more responsive goalkeepers plus much better game speed and free kick techniques have made the game reminding you of the PES golden era. It still lacks the appropriate amount of licensed teams and stadiums and repetitive commentary, but the gameplay is worth turning a bit of a blind eyes on those.

I grew up playing Winning eleven/Pro evolution soccer series. However for almost a decade from 2008-2016 I had to admit Fifa was superior. But PES slowly making its way back. From 2016 until now, PES has been much better and this year 2018 version is much better than Fifa. Graphics and gameplay are just amazingly more realistic than Fifa. And dont worry about the lack of license kits, there are many option files out there to patch that up.

What i can is say about Pro Evolution Soccer 2018, if you really love soccer, Gameplay realistic and have fun with friends definitely this is your game. This is not about licenses, this is a about Gameplay, the great representation of the best players around the world, it's Amazing to see players like Messi, Ronaldo, Robben etc with great faces (very realistic) player ID, this last thing make me crazy because, it's feels like every single players move different, for example in FIFA mostly the players run the same, on PES it's different, you can see some players have different ability with the ball and without the ball. If you worry about licenses, don't worry, it's a lot communities they do amazing job with Option File (like PES universe) you can install in the game, you have your game all full licensed like FIFA. I highly recommend this game because is really fun, just give a try.

The gameplay is a lot better than FIFA 18. However, team database is limited with generic names/logos and kits.

Gameplay much better than fifa. It is more realistic, not so back and forth speed ball, all facets of the play matter. The extras not so great, like Master league on the surface it is deep, but quite shallow after a while. The FUT equivalent, better, it gives an rpg feel, you get to customize all players and managers you acquire + plus their stats. Also offline game mode random selection match is fun, it is mini draft prematch against local coop friends, where you steal each others picks before playing. FYI been playing FIFA since 06, this is the 1st year did not buying it, this is the 3rd year with PES. They improve the game meaningfully every year, hopefully they continue, it will be needed.

When it comes to soccer games unfortunately we only have 2 options. Fifa and PES. Well I went with PES this year and its amazing. So many options to chose from. And the game play its phenomenal.

The gameplay is amazing and the graphics are very good. the 3v3 mode is AWESOME! PES should beat FIFA this year. i give it a 8/10. You need to BUY this game.

It may not have official premier league soccer and all the teams but game play is awesome once you learn the controllers. Plays well on PS4 pro

It may not have the license but beats fifa in game play. Plus download the kits from pes universe and you have all of the teams in the game
