Great acting all around here. It is an example of a remake that is better than the original, and it also adds its own touch to it as well. Sometimes a remake can take a great idea and turn it into something really good. Check it out!

The trailer for this movie was creepy and fun. If you saw these directors other movie Starry Night, I was expecting something else. It is not saying this is a bad movie just was expecting something different and it is hard to explain.

Pet Sematary (2019) is a great take on Stephen King’s classic horror story. In some ways it is even more book accurate than the original movie while also changing the story enough to differentiate itself. Unlike most horror movies these days Pet Sematary (2019) doesn’t try too hard to be smart to the point of working itself into a boring thriller. Well worth your time and money.

I enjoyed the original Pet Semetary and I expected the same with this new version. After watching the movie, I really enjoyed this movie a lot. In my opinion, there was a little more suspense, which more "jump out" moments.

I saw this in the theater as well and was pleasantly surprised when I walked out. I'm a Stephen King fan, and a fan of the original. The new version does a great job of telling you the story in a slightly different way. I don't want to spoil anything, so I won't mention the differences. If you're a fan of the original, you owe it to yourself to check it out.

From the novel by Stephen King, a doctor and his family move to a small town in Maine after moving from Boston by starting their life anew, but things take a horrifying turn when an accident causes the father to bury his daughter in a cemetery that brings things back from beyond, but will have to pay the consequences for his own actions.

If there is a pet cemetery near, most pet owners want to bury their them to keep them close. Some of us in the back yard if need be. But all of us would rather have had them live. We try to extend our lives why not theirs? After all, they are our best friends, our children, our escape from the reality of life. Kitty, is that you?

Sometimes classics should be left alone, but there are some remakes that actually improve over a good movie. This is a very good remake. For those who haven't seen the original, this will become an instant classic and for those who have seen the original, they will place this remake right next to the original in greatness.

While this movie has mixed reviews, I never was in love with the original like everyone else so I actually really enjoyed this remake. I think the casting really makes this movie a win!

Great movie of the original would’ve liked it to be a little more different than the original but was exactly what I expected of the original movie maybe an updated part 2 would be better .

hard to compare to such a horror classic but this new twist was a fresh take! sometimes you have to watch and not compare these new remakes! The grittiness and gore was a nice change too!

So after seeing the old one earlier this year, comparing this to the old one, I would say this one is a bit interesting. Some new exciting stuffs. Didn’t expect the twist. Great film.

The movie itself is so-so depending on taste (3 stars), but the steelbook design is totally 5 stars. That red and black design is right up my alley. Average it together for a 4 star review.

This to me was a better version than the first Pet Sematary. I am a huge Steven King fan and read almost all his books and I do like them better than I do the movies but this one did okay.

I like this movie, but hated how the kinship between Louis & Jud was lost & think the scenes with Pascow, could've been scrapped altogether. I was let down at theaters, but bought it because I'm a fan off SK & glad I did, the sound is awesome & now think of it as an alternate reality, where the Gage was saved & Ellie dies.

I love this movie. I’m a huge fan of the original and have watched it so many times. Super excited when this was available. The movie is very close to the original but has enough changes to make it unique. I loved all the characters and I’m actually glad this remake happened. If you like the original give this a shot.

Most of the movie was great and redone well. However the ending was disappointing, as it gave no closure to the movie. The actors did a superb job and fit the characters in the book.

I don't really remember much about the original, I saw it as a kid. I know this was a bit different from both that film and the book. But it was an enjoyable horror / suspense film

Pet Sematary is back with a twist!I saw the first film that was done in the 70s or 80s and I didn’t want to see this one because I just thought that maybe it was gonna be the same but it’s totally different yet it’s the same storyline it’s great the filming is incredible if you’re a Stephen King fan A must see

I’m i stickler for horror and Stephen king films so I was pretty excited about this. Although it’s entertaining the film didn’t quite hold up to the original or the book.
