I never got the laser to keep up with me, usually a 2-3 sec lag. The voice stopped working after 5 months, now it's just a rapidly flashing red light. I'll be returning to BB soon. It was good for basic remote viewing of my cat, while it worked.

I have both dogs and cats and this camera is perfect for both! The built in laser attracts my cats and u can see them and talk to them and hear them meow and the dogs bark! Great camera for the money!!!

The set up requires you to wait a whole day (at least) before the device fully downloads the firmware required to use the pet cube. If that was much quicker, a lot of people wouldn't be fiddling their thumbs waiting for this to work.

Easy to set up. Can monitor from your cellphone for security and play with the pets with its laser. The Cube also has audio so I can talk to whoever I see on video. It’s awesome.

I love the Petcube it works great but costumer service is the worst they are all lost and don’t even know the product at all. But the product does it job great really recommend it for someone with pets or in general.

The Petcube has eased my mind when I go on vacation and can check up on my pets. Love the laser pointer and how you can play with the cats. The camera views are crisp. Very nice

The petcube play works great and it is nice to be able to check in on our dog when away at work or out of the house for a while. I usually set it up near her favorite couch or facing the woodpile outside the window where she likes to hunt. I would definitely recommend!

I bought this to keep an eye on my dogs while I'm at work. The connection works pretty good, and the video is clear. There's no night vision at all, so if there's no lights in the room you won't see anything when you connect. The laser is kind of pointless, at least for my dogs, maybe other animals will interact more with it. It's not smooth or very fast to respond either. Audio is ok, but if there's any background noise at all, you can't really hear the camera at all.

The laser isn't exactly that great (even after calibration). It tends to go wherever it wants to. When using the Sound option to hear/speak, you get audio feedback since I'm assuming the speaker and microphone are relatively near one another. We also have connectivity issues, but I wouldn't blame the Petcube for that as we have a DSL connection and our internet speeds are very slow. Overall, it's a useful product to take a peek at what your pet is up to while you're away.

The Pet Cube is a great way to check in on and interact with your pet while you're away from the home. The red laser is awesome and our cat loves the play time.

Bought this for my daughter so she could check up on her cats when traveling. She loves it! The unit is small but has a wide angle on the lens that gives good coverage. It was easy to set up and she has sent many a video of her playing with the laser pointer with the cats. Have bought two more since...one for my son and one for us!

If you have a cat, this is a better tool than if you have a dog. The dogs pay no attention to the laser. If this was more of a FaceTime type cube the pet would not be so confused by just hearing your voice but no person there. A bit of a torture for them. We just use it to spy on the dog now. It’s a good starter camera with an easy to use app, but would prefer to buy a better camera for what I paid for the cube.

Keeps disconnecting from wireless for no reason. The camera doesn't go to sleep but it disconnects so defeats the purpose of having it. Limited movable range of laser.

This is a great camera to watch your pets during the day. it gives you peace of mind and lets you interact with them while you are away

It was kind of a cool idea, however I was very disappointed and returned the item. The laser pointer was difficult to control in a three dimensional world from a two dimensional app. As a result my cats looked confused by why it was jumping around and it didn't keep them interested. This I might have just dealt with, as I can understand why that would be difficult to do. However, then when I attempted to use the two way audio, it was absolutely horrible. Even with nothing happening on the app end, a very high pitched screeching would come from the pet cube. If I spoke it only got louder and worse. I truly expected something where my cats would have at least a chance of recognizing my voice, from an object that would cause them to startle and quickly vacate the room as soon as the connection was made and the high pitched sounds started. I gave this two stars because the concept was great, the packaging and instructions were good, and the picture quality was decent. I am very hopeful a better version will come out in the future, because I love the idea of this product!

Awesome camera for day or night viewing. We use ours also as a means to look into what's happening while we are work.

i bought this because one of my dogs were sick and i wanted to be able to check in on her. since then she became better, but boy do i love this camera. i am able to see them throughout the day, watch them play or majority of the time sleep. if they're doing something wrong i can use the two way speaker to tell them to stop. the quality of the camera is very good unless my wifi connection is acting up. but overall love the camera and would definitely recommend it for animal lovers

It was cool for a few days and then after that we never used it again. Overpriced. Laser is finicky.

Problems? Image quality gets awash next to a table lamp or ceiling light. You must not let light sources be in the view or image. The areas of the image near the light will blur or ‘wash out’. Also, the laser is slow to react and doesn’t stay proportional in moving about the screen. And lastly my audio quality coming from the cube is not very loud. Regardless,I have enjoyed monitoring my pets while away. Still a good product but not great. BTW, I have 50 Meg up/down internet speed so it’s not the connection.

Camera quality is good not great but for the price (deal of the day) really good to be able to communicate with my dog.
