I recently purchased the new version and was prompted to find the original, which is more of a comedy/musical than the new version.

While I haven't seen the remake, I absolutely loved this movie as a kid. Glad to see that they also released the original version.

As a grandfather I am enjoying introducing my granddaughter to the Wonderfull World of Disney and Pete's Dragon is a hidden gem!!!

My daughter absolutely loves this movie. Having it on Blu-ray as well as DVD allows her to be able to watch at home or in the car.

I seen this movie several years ago. Special effects are as good as today of course,but still is a good movie for kids.

This was our son's favorite movie some 30+ years ago. We have been looking for it to give to him....it will be a great gift!!

The remade this movie, which I have not seen, but this version is great and should be seen even if you have seen the new one.

Was fun to watch with my kids along with the new one just released. Looks great remastered in Bluray. First class from Disney.

I tried to get my son (4) to get the new Pete"s Dragon but he was sure he wanted this one...Great choice they loved it.

Great movie, brings me back to when I was a child and watched it on VHS. Only much better quality with blu-ray now.

This belongs in any Disney movie collection especially since they have re made or released a remake of the movie this year.

This movie is a classic!! Such a great story and great characters! Well done for the year it came out!! Highly recommend!!

I love this movie, it was such a big part of my childhood. It's funny, it's musical, and great for the whole family.

Great musical! Not even close to the new version. Which is good because you can't compete with this classic.

Knocks to new Pete down way down sometimeso you can leave well enough a long stop trying to remake all the Ole movies

We have been waiting for all the old classics to come out on blu ray and we are finally getting them. Wonderful!

I used to watch this movie as a child so when they brought it out on Blu-ray I just had to add it to the collection.
