Lots of love in this story and we appreciate how it shows children today many activities from yesteryear such as wood carving, forest rangers, and also the ultimate truth about Pete's Dragon revealed at the end is precious.

This was my daughters favorite movie growing up and when the remake was released in theaters on her birthday, we knew we had to see it. It did not diappoint. Great storyline, great special effects. Had to add it to our collection.

We got this for our daughter to enjoy at 5yrs old. It didn't disappoint. Even at 5, she understood the excitement of finding a dragon in the forest. She was really hoping there was one hiding in our trees after seeing this movie.

This is a great movie for all the family to enjoy. You can't go wrong with the Disney movies. When they remake these Disney movies with real actors they are most enjoyable, like the Jungle Book and the new Beauty and the Beast.

I was hesitant at first for a remake of one of my favorite childhood movies. But, after watching it I see it more as a film of its own with a basis from the original. It's gorgeous to watch and kept our whole family entertained.

To be completely honest, I wasn't sure whether or not, they would do the old classic version of this movie justice with a reboot. I was very pleasantly surprised by how well it turned out though. My wife and I enjoyed it a lot.

When I saw that Pete's Dragon was being remade I was a little concerned. I didn't need to be. This movie keeps a lot of the charm of the original, but doesn't try to retell the same story. I would give 10 stars if I could.

No remake maybe a retelling of a classic tale about a boy and his dragon named Elliot, this family movue touches everything in the end you will love this cute dragon and fish friend named Pete. A great family movie.

I was skeptical of this movie when it came out because I love the original! But it really is a fabulous movie on it's own! And actually makes a little bit more sense. Very very good movie!

Still have not had a chance to watch this remake yet but I'm hoping it holds true to the original. Despite it being on the opposite coast.. not being a musical.. Elliot being fuzzy instead of scaly..

The kids really like the story and magic of having your very own dragon. I was afraid the kids might be scared, but they did a great job making the dragon look believeable yet not scary.

While the first one was good this one is really great! Loved the new story line and the fact that it was more timely. Still a little bit far fetched but had you rooting for both the dragon and the little guy.

I went to get movies for Christmas at Best Buy. I couldn't find it. But, a courteous Best Buy employee took time out to help me find it even though it was a hectic day. Petes Dragon is a great family movie.

Disney finally made a movie that didn't revolve around princesses. Finding a movie for my young son is hard and we watch a lot of Disney. It's nice to have a movie that is more appropriate for him.

I enjoyed this movie even more than the original Disney's Pete's Dragon which is unusual. RObert Redford does a lovely job. It's great family entertainment and the scenes with Elliot and Pete are awesome.

A stocking stuffer for my son, but it was really for me! I loved the original version as a child and was pleased with this new version of it. I wouldn't say it outdid the original, but it came very close!

I don’t really like a lot of the Disney live movies, but this one is an exception. Great cast, story, and visuals all-around. Def recommend!

I grew up being a huge fan of the original Pete's Dragon. This film is more of a reimagining than a remake though. The sound and picture are great and it's one of the best family films in recent memory.

Elliott acts just like my lab :). The picture quality is fantastic. The PS4 Pro just a great job upconverting Petes Dragon to 4k. This movie is amazing. I'm pushing 40 years old and it made me cry. :(

the actors were carismatic in this enchated tale of a boy whom is befriended by a dragon after he survives a car accident where both of his parents tragically loss of life left him alone in the woods.
