A Trifecta of Talent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love Petula Clark. I love the Carpenters. I love Lou Rawls. So why wouldn't I buy this DVD? This DVD features Petula Clark with guest performances by Richard Carpenter and Lou Rawls. Everyone sounds great, and the concert is spliced with vintage footage of Petula Clark from her 1960's and '70s television specials. In fact, there is one vintage clip featured that I am convinced served as the inspiration for the choreography in the 60's London scene in the first "Austin Powers" movie. At any rate, if you are looking for some fun vintage clips and quality contemporary performances by quality artists, then this is the DVD for you.
