Thanks to J.J. Abrams, Phantasm--a cult horror classic from 1979--has been restored and re-mastered. Does it make sense? Not really! Is it pretty cool? Yes, yes it is. Watch out for the Tall Man and his flying Murder Orb!

I have loved all of the Phantasm movies. I purchased to add to my Horror collection of steel books. This original was by far my favorite.

This was a bizarre horror film even for its time. I loved it and needed to own it on blu Ray.

Many years ago, Don Cascorelli created a mind bending terror fest; he called it Phantasm. One of the most iconic horror film villains is The Tall Man. One of the most iconic horror film scores is the soundtrack to this film. And JJ Abrams and Bad Robot Productions brought us the Terror fest in one of the greatest remasters I've ever seen come to bluray! The features are great as well, with a pimp my ride-like tv show episode featuring The phantasm car, a lengthy vintage tv interview with Don and Angus Scrimm (r.i.p) and very informative commentary track giving the classic even more of a replay value! Highly recommend this 2 disc set! The slipcover/disc artwork alone is amazing. Get it
