I think that Phenmona is one of Dario argento best movies because it has all the elements of a great horror movies, this is one of Jennifer Connelly early movies in which she was superb in the movie, playing a school girl who goes to a school in a another country, which it was in Switzerland, she loves insects. Girls from the school starts coming up missing and Jennifer has to figure out who the killer is or will she be the next victim.

What an incredible 4k release! Great video/audio. Synapse has been releasing many great movies like Demons in 4k and they haven't disappointed yet. My only complaint would be the cover. What a dreadful cover. But the actual disc is what Argento fans have been waiting for!

Italian horror, Argento-flavored, may not be for everyone, but this is a great early feature for young Connelly and it has some surprising heavy metal moments.

Ever think that the master of Giallo could make a bizarre bug talker horror flick with the star of LABYRINTH and HALLOWEEN? Here it is and it's truly awesome, great picture, audio and features.

so giallio is a very niche genre and I understand that 80's italian horror is not for everyone, not even for quite a few but I love it, and this film has it all. Jennifer connerlly, donald pleasance, Goblin doing the soundtrack, magic, supernatural and a chimp with a sling blade, come on!

Jennifer Connelly is awesome in this film. She has been in a lot of projects. This movie is insane.

Classic 80s Argento, they don’t make them like this anymore

This is one of Argento's best. Beautiful Swiss Alps setting provides the backdrop for this film. Jennifer Connolly shines in the lead role and shows the skill and angelic presense that launched her career. Yikes these are cliche phrases used by most reviewers.

I am very happy to get this. This is an awesome movie with a great transfer!

Not even close to the best Argento, but there are parts of the film to love. This release comes with a fantastic picture/audio quality and is loaded with special features including 3 cuts and an over hour long making of documentary.

This new 4K upgrade is worth the buy. Retains film grain and quality while improving detail and color. Full of bonus features. And if you're unfamiliar with Dario Argento movies, this is a good place to start.
