Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington? What’s not to like

Tom Hanks delivers one of his best performances ever

Philadelphia, when it was first released, tackled the AIDS crisis head on. No punches were pulled and it deserved the critical acclaim that it received. Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington give epic performances and the supporting cast is excellent. The HDR10 image is first rate. It's sharp, bright and colors are dead on. The Atmos soundtrack is not designed to be totally immersive nor should it be. It is, however, excellent and, most importantly, dialogue is consistently crystal clear. Philadelphia may not have quite the social impact that it did in 1993 but it is an important work that should be watched periodically if it's on your movie shelf.

I purchased the 4K version recently and I was impressed with the video quality along with the audio & sound track, This is definitely a need to own classic movie!
